They would never let Bree rot in jail. Trust me, I kinda got to know these "we are not taking any risks with our 4 leads" writers.

I think I would have preferred if the Alejandro thing had just stayed "buried" so to speak and they were instead going after Bree for Chuck's murder. That would have made more sense really. I mean Detective Murphy is all going after Bree due to Alejandro's murder and yet the partner he is so obsessed with gets no investigation? Kind of weird.

I've loved all of season 8. It's had it's filler moments like almost all the other seasons, but it's been consistently pretty interesting and well-written, even if a few things didn't get proper resolution. The thing I didn't like the most about season 7 were all the dropped story lines: the baby switch that was quick to wrap up and was never mentioned again, Tom and Renee's affair (again, quickly resolved and never again referenced), Orson randomly disappearing from Bree's house with no resolution, etc. The writers introduced all of these really juicy plot developments and just kind of let them die off in 3 episodes tops. They've not done as much of that in season 8 so I consider it to be a vast improvement.

I don't get why people even refer to it as an affair. It was just a one night stand.

Exactly. But it meant so much to Renee. Tom's schlong must be really huge since Renee wasn't able to forget about him for 20 years.

I found it ridiculous that she was supposedly "in love" with him all that time. The whole storyline was just so forced and unbelievable.

I would have found a history with her and Carlos better.

She would look good with Carlos. But they have been there and done that with Edie.

Why Renee and Carlos? What difference would it make?

I don't think she'd been in love with Tom for 20 years, it's just being around him again brought back good memories at a time when she was lonely and depressed following her marriage's collapse.

Still, that story was ludacris. For starters, the way it was introduced ("She can never know") - cheesy much? And whereas the revelation was good and I loved Vanessa Williams in that scene, the outcome... meh. 7.12 was funny for Lynette and Tom, but it should had been better. All that set-up for nothing. I felt like I was watching season 6 again.

And, again, whereas I was mad at the writers for not hooking Tom up with Renee when the Scavos separated, I am glad now. Ben and Renee are boring, but I love her friendship with Lynette, and I'm glad it wasn't tarnished.

Anyway, getting back on track, Susan's my favorite. I love that woman so God-damn much.

I'm glad the writers didn't put Renee and Tom together. As if Renee would betray Lynette again and Tom has a bit more respect then to hook up with Lynette's best friend again.

I love Jane. Can't get enough of her. I hope she gets some sort of happy ending too.

I liked her very much up until 8.19, but that divorce files-serving thing was beyond rude and ridiculous. Although I kind of see where is she coming from, she must have been so unhappy.

I still like Jane. I can so see Lynette doing something like that.

I hate that the writers are trying to get us sympathize with Lynette, so they make Jane come off like a huge bitch.

I've just never liked Jane really. She's always come across to me as conniving and two-faced, even back when she was "nice".

Well for me bree has always been my favourite housewife she is the most complex and intresting and has been since the very beginng. I also really loved katherine when she was introduced in season 4 she was dark complex and mysterious it shame they ruined her by putting her in a relationship with mike and then having her havea nervouse breakdown and then turing into a lesbian they really didnt ruin her character

Well, see, the only thing I disliked was her relationship with Mike. Just seemed so blegh. I mean they did the love triangle thing with Edie, why do it with Katherine. That whole storyline just seemed unecessary. I loved Katherine as a lesbian though. It seemed like a fitting end to her psychotic dramas that she makes a new self discovery.

That's admirable given her crappy storylines in the later seasons. But I still loved that lady
