They need to break up offically and stay that way! It have been unhappy with each other for so many years! They would only be fooling each other if they got back together.

^^They didn't appear to be unhappy with each other last year, before 7.17. I agree that they should get back together. It'd be a shame for them to throw away all those years they've been together.

This! But they need some time as well to get things right. Maybe Jane turns out to be someone who is not that great of a person after all.

I don't think I'd like that for Jane. It's so refreshing that she's actually genuinely good and interested in Tom. She's sort of like Robin. God, I miss Robin...

I think she's too interested in Tom. Too much too fast. How good can a woman be if her date's wife asks her to back off and she won't stop seeing a married man?

I hope they get back together. I hate this whole separation storyline, I personally feel that their whole separation to begin with was really forced. I just hope it doesn't drag on for the whole season until the final episode or something where they reunite. I want them to get back together asap!

I actually don't. I want them to get back together, but not right away. Unless their reunion opens the doors to Kayla's return. Because, honestly, I don't feel like watching them go through any other storyline, it'd just seem filler-ish. I want Kayla back and I want it NOW!!!!!!! If she doesn't return, I'll be so pissed... like, seriously pissed... >:O

It's painful to say but I actually don't want them to get back together. They were my favorite couple during most of the show but their power struggle just became so annoying. All the other ladies have had divorce/separation and get back together stories soit's time for something more realistic and less forced fairytale endingish. I'd much rather see Lynette overcome her power issues and find another man.

yeah, I just don't see the point in having them be together. It's gotten to the point where I just don't see them together anymore. I don't think there is any way they can make it work. The best thing for both of them would be to move on.

My biggest beef is that if they don't get back together, Kayla's return becomes less and less likely. I know I keep going back to the same topic, but I want her back so much!!

^Renato, I hate to burst your bubble, but I dont seem them bringing Kayla back really.. I think they kind of forgot about her LOL

Anyway, I dont mind them together if they can stop fighting and I dont mind them separated. Just becuase its a tv show, I can see them getting back together at the finale, though.

Bob Daily mentioned Kayla at an interview during the summer, so there's still hope! I'm clinging onto it, anyway.

If the do offically break-up, i dont want Lynette to get with someone. I want to see Lynette alone in the finale.

Anyone else wanna see Bree and Orson getting back together towards the finale? Their marriage was crap in seasons 5-6, but I can't see them doing better than each other. They were so much alike. And, really, is Orson gonna do any better than Bree now that he's in a wheelchair? I found it so ridiculous that Bree had moved on from Orson in 7.11, as though she thought she and Keith made a better pairing. Don't you guys agree?

I'm not sure if I wanna see Lynette alone in the finale. Considering that she's, well, a handful and the fact that she has five kids already, and has the custody of three of them, it's hard for her to get a new man. So she should really get one, a nice one (maybe even Rick? At least there'd be some continuity there, and it'd piss off Tom), because if she ends up alone it'd sort of like killing the "the best is yet to come" hope. Like that would be it for her, she'd wind up alone. Or maybe in the very ending she meets someone interesting, mirroring Bree and Orson's encounter at the end of 2.24.

The perfect outcome would be: Lynette with either Tom or Rick, or meeting someone new; Bree with Orson; Gabrielle either with Carlos or Carlos being dead, because not everyone can get a happy ending; and Susan and Mike living happily ever after, their relationship has been troubled enough already. I'd also like for Renee and Ben to settle down and become more suburban. Roy could possibly pass away, leaving Karen devastated but glad at the same time that she at least found another opportunity for love that late on in her life. Julie should go back to medical school and re-start her life on the right path, and Zach should get out of rehab and make a clean start too. Andrew should find someone new, and maybe even Danielle. Kayla should get killed after exacting her revenge, thus damaging Tom, and Katherine and Robin should get married and have a baby together, because Robin wants to experience motherhood. Lee and Bob and Jenny should also live happily, and Edie, Rex, Martha, Ida, Mary Alice and several other deceased characters should be featured somehow.

Wouldn't this be a lovely way to wrap up the series?

Also, since some of you guys want a cliffhanger, maybe in the series a new neighbor (portrayed by some A-list special guest star) could move to the neighborhood, and we see the first scene that should introduce a new mystery, mirroring all the times a new neighbor (Betty, Orson, Katherine, Dave, Angie, Paul's return and Ben) moved to the lane and lead a mystery storyline. But, of course, the mystery wouldn't go beyond the series finale, it'd leave us hanging. I think it'd be a less infuriating cliffhanger than an unidentified housewife hanging herself.

I'd also like it some supporting housewife was introduced and drowned her kids towards the end. I was gonna do that with America Ferrera's character in our fictitious seventh season, but, well, we never finished it. Too bad.

I think they were perfect for each other. But i cant see them back together, i cant see them fall back in love. That would be a nice ending, but where the cliffhanger? I would like to see Tom die in the finale out of all the characters.

Really?? Wow. I missed that...I shouldve figured because I thought it was kind of random that you brought her up after all this time LOL. Sorry bout that, dont go to the spoiler thread often.

Anyway, Id like to see Tom/Lynette if they can get their act together, Susan with Mike, Gabby and Carlos and Bree alone. Its not that I dont want Bree to be happy with someone, but s1 Bree always had to be the typical married housewife with kids, so it would be nice to see her come full-circle to be single, no kids and happy/strong on her own (rather than lonely). Susan was single at first so she will be married, I like Gabby and Carlos together and then that leaves Lynette and Id say either way for her.

I do want them back together. Lynette and Tom have been the only couple to stay married after a long time. If they don't get back together, what kind of message would the show be sending to the audience? "Marriage just never works"? It's not that I want a fairy-taily storyline. I just have seen some marriages work in real life (And by "Work" I don't mean "Split up, be with a lot of different people and then get back together" I mean "Stay together"). But the show just has been giving away the idea that it's just imposible. Lynette and Tom used to be that marriage that proved wrong every odd, but Mark Cherry had to ruin that one too. Just because the show is called "Desperate Housewives" doesn't mean every housewife has to go through a break up or divorce to be desperate.

Anyway I still believe there's love in the relationship. There's just a lot of intolerance too, but they will be able to solve their isues and finally get back together.
