Getting Married Today

Season 3, Episode 23, Aired
EDIT

Episode Recap

The wedding is prepared in front of Victor's house and everything looks beautiful.

"When Gabrielle Solis agreed to marry Victor Lang she was determined to have a very traditional wedding. She was even more determined to be a very traditional bride (Gabrielle is in her wedding dress and she looks herself in the mirror). To that end, the handkerchief in her cleavage was borrowed. (She puts the handkerchief between her breasts) the garter on her leg was blue (she puts the garter on her leg) and the diamonds on her ears were old (she puts the earrings). But sadly for Gabrielle something was missing and she was about to throw a traditional fit." (Gabrielle goes to look through the window while Susan and Lynette are helping her over her dress)

Gabrielle tells to girl that it is after 3 and Bree should have arrived with something new. Susan tells her that her plane landed on time and she will be here anytime soon. Gabrielle thinks that she is crazy for even agreeing to do this and she doesn't care about Swiss jewelry. Lynette tells her that Bree got out of her way to buy her the bracelet. Gabrielle points out that it is the hottest day of the year and everyone must be sweating like pigs. Lynette tells her that if she is so freaked out she can marry without the bracelet and Gabrielle tells her that she can't get married without her something new. Susan gives the lipstick and tells her that that can be her something new and Gabrielle tells her that she paid the makeup artist 500$ to do her face and she won't march down the aisle looking like she just at the Popsicle. Gabrielle is freaking out because Bree is ten minutes late and Bree is never late. (We see Bree's legs and she is in front of the house getting closer to the room where Susan, Lynette and Gabrielle are). Gabrielle tells them that after she finishes "tszujing" her hair she will begin with the wedding. Gabrielle points out that her wedding is ruined and it hasn't even started and she kicks the present and leaves the room. (Bree is getting closer) Lynette tells Susan that she is getting worried about Bree and maybe they should call her and Susan takes the cell to call her (Bree is getting even closer and she opens the door). Susan tells Lynette that it is ringing but they hear the cell phone and they turn around and see Bree and they are in shock. Bree salutes them and Gabrielle yells from the hallway that it is better for her sake that she didn't come empty handed and then Gabrielle sees her and she is in shock.

"As promised Bree had arrived with something new (Now we see that Bree is pregnant) and she also brought the bracelet."

THREE DAYS EARLIER

"Family, there is nothing more important (we see the picture of Susan and Julie together). They're the ones we want to laugh with during the good times (we see the picture of Lynette with Parker, Porter, Preston, Penny and Kayla) and the ones we need to console us during the bad (we see the picture of Bree, Orson, Andrew and Danielle). And even though the time comes when they have to leave us (we see the picture of Gabrielle and Carlos) their voices still linger in our minds (we see the picture of Edie and her mother). And sometimes we can't help but listen."

Edie is having sex with Carlos and her mother is sitting next to her bed. Her mother tells her that she is weaving a tangled web. Her mother tells her that the little scheme of hers is not going to work. Edie tells her that it will and Carlos is practically already in love with her. Her mother tells her that that is because he thinks that she will give him a baby. Her mother tells her to wait until he finds that she is on the pill. Edie tells her to shut up. Her mother thanks the good lord that her father didn't live to see this. Edie tells her that neither did her because she died alone in trailer park watching game shows. Edie asks her why she should listen to her. Her mother tells her because she knows what is waiting for her and tells her that Carlos will leave her like all the others and that she will end up alone and old just like she did.

Edie wakes up from the nightmare and calls for Carlos. He is in the kitchen making her a fruit smoothie and someone rings the bell. Carlos opens the door and it is Gabrielle. She asks him chicken or fish because she didn't get his reply card beck so she wants to know. Carlos tells her that he can't go because he is a jinx he went to her last wedding and it turned pretty ugly. Carlos tells her that it would be weird if he went and she tells him that it will be weirder if he didn't. She tells him that everyone knows that he is living with Edie and if she shows up alone people will think that she asked her not to bring him and like it bugs her that they two are together. Carlos tells her that it does bugs her and she tells him that that is why she needs to show to people that she is OK with that. Carlos tells her that he will just go to the reception and skip the ceremony. She tells him that he can't do that and he tells her that he will make a scene because when he hears a vow till death do us apart he will burst out laughing and people will stare. She tells him that the reception starts at 4.

Susan and Mike are back home and they are talking about their wedding. Susan thinks that chocolate fountain would be a cool centerpiece for their dessert buffet. Mike is surprised because he thinks that the wedding cake is a dessert. Susan thinks that they need to give people a choice and she thinks that the chocolate fountain would be elegant. He thinks that it is a bad idea because she will be in a white dress and there will be melted chocolate all around here. She thinks that instead of chocolate they might have a champagne fountain and they can make it flow through the ice sculpture. Mike thinks that they are going a bit over the top and Susan wants to know what is over the top. He thinks that dove wrangler is over the top and Susan tells him that doves won't release themselves and he asks her if she needs forty of them and she tells him that everyone went to Bree's wedding and everyone will go to Gabrielle's wedding and she also wants to have a perfect wedding because she wants people to think that their wedding was as nice as everyone else's. He tells her that their friends won't be there to make comparisons they will be there to celebrate their love. Susan wants this wedding so badly and he tells that the forty birds circling overhead is a bad idea also.

Lynette is on the phone talking to Aunt Lucy and she tells her about Hodgkin's lymphoma and that is the safer lymphoma. She tells the kids to keep it down because she is talking on the phone. Lynette tells her that she knows that she told her that they would visit this June but she will be a little woozy and bald from chemo so she won't make it. She tells her that their insurance company has a really high deductible and they are strapped financially and she was wondering if Lucy and Dale…but Lucy cuts it short and tells her something on the phone. Lynette gives the look to Tom and it means that they won't be getting money from them. She tells her that she will not be asking mom and she tells her not to tell her. They say goodbye and they hang up. Lynette tells Tom that Dave lost his job at the plant and he is now handing out flyers at the chicken restaurant and there is a chicken suit involved. Lynette asks Tom where they will find this 10 000 $. Tom tells her to leave that to him and she just needs to relax and calm down. He tells her that they will make some sacrifices for example he won't be renewing his tennis club membership. Lynette asks him if he should be playing tennis after his back surgery and he tells her that he probably shouldn't and Lynette cheers him up and tells him that as soon as she starts chemo she will be giving up shampoo.

Bree is packing her things while Orson informs her that the taxi is here. Orson asks her if she is fine with everything because they could wait another week. Bree tells him that she won't miss Gabrielle's wedding. Orson points out the dress and asks her if that is the dress she was thinking on wearing for the ceremony. Bree tells him that it is and he tells her that he will fold it in tissue so it doesn't wrinkle. Bree tells him that she doesn't deserve him. Orson tells her that they agreed to no more tears. Bree tells him that she would understand if he ran like hell and never looked back. He tells her that he will raise this child and love it as if it is his own. He kisses Bree and asks her for a smile. She smiles.

Milton, Victor's father, joined Gabrielle and Victor on their dinner and Gabrielle is pleased to meet him before the wedding. Milton tells her that all this months he thought that Victor was exaggerating but he tells her that she is a flawless beauty. She tells him that she is hardly flawless as she certainly has a blemish hidden away somewhere. Milton tells her that that is a search he would relish. Victor tells him that she is way out of his league. Gabrielle tells him that he is a multimillionaire, he runs her league. Victor and Milton start talking about the politics and Milton tells Victor that some politicians were pleased by Victor and they will support him in the next governor race. Gabrielle bursts out laughing and Victor asks her what is so funny. She tells him that they must be joking because she just finished a campaign and she won't go through another one. Victor tells her that he thought that she loved campaign. She tells him that it was a complete snore as she had to paste a smile on her face as he was repeating the same speech for fiftieth time. Victor tells her that she was natural and people loved her but she tells him that the feeling wasn't mutual. She tells him that she hated having tea with those frumpy matrons who wore loud, polyblend pantsuits. She wanted so many times to scream to them to vote for her husband you color blind cow. Milton tells her that she had discovered something very important about democracy. Nation is full of fools and everyone gets a vote. Gabrielle tells them that she made nice for the Fairview and she will not suck up for the whole damn state. Victor and Milton exchange the look.

It is late in the night and Mike is not in the bed. Susan asks him what he is doing and he is putting his clothes on and tells her that some guy has a cracked water heater. Susan points out that it is three in the morning and Mike tells her that he had started advertising as a 24 hour plumber and after midnight he gets triple time. Susan tells him that that is crazy and he can't work around the clock because it is not healthy. He tells her that it is third night he had worked this week and he is fine so far. Susan didn't know that and he tells her that he will be doing it just for a little while to earn some extra money. Susan asks him if it is about the wedding and Mike tells her that they agreed to be nice. Susan tells him that they didn't agree to this and she can scale things up a bit and she can max up her credit card. Mike asks her if that is the way she wants to start their life together, in debt. She wants to start it happy and she points out that he is upset and she doesn't know why. He tells her that he is not Ian and he can't afford to fly her off to Paris or to live in a castle but he will damned if he doesn't give her the same dream wedding he would have given her. He goes to work.

Someone is ringing the doorbell and Lynette opens the door. It is her mother Stella and she screams at her immediately and asks her how the hell she gets off having cancer and not telling her about it. Lynette is in shock. She asks her how she could think to handle this without her. Tom is also in shock. She kisses him and tells him to bring the bags (Tom and Lynette exchange the look) and not to tip the driver because the S.O.B. wouldn't let her smoke.

Every of her kids are in the living room and Stella points out that she didn't know that Lynette opened a day care center. Stella says hi to them but they all just stare at her. She wants to know what Lynette had been saying about her but Lynette tells her that it has been five years and they don't remember her. Stella points out that they will remember her this time as she brought presents (only three of them) and gives them to Porter, Preston and Parker. Parker tells her that these are baby toys and they are too old to play with these. She tells him that she is too old to remember what the hell 6 years olds like to play with. One of the twins tells her that they are eight and Stella asks him why she should care. Lynette tells them to say thank you and they do. Stella notices Kayla and asks Parker who is the pretty thing and if she is his girlfriend. Parker tells her that she is his sister. Stella asks Lynette if that is Tom's little B.A.S.T.A…and before she could finish spelling bastard Tom tells them to go upstairs with toys. Lynette tells her that she is thankful for her coming but as she can see she is perfectly fine. Stella points out that she is fine for now and asks her how she will be able to handle the mob when she is flat on her ass from chemo. Lynette tells her that she will manage because Stella managed to go through breast cancer while raising the three of them alone. Stella tells her that she wasn't alone because she had her. Lynette was 13 and still managed to look after her sisters, clean the house, and cook the meals, while she was puking her guts out. Lynette tells her that that is what she gets when she mixes vodka with chemo drugs. Stella tells her that she can goad her all she likes but she didn't come here to fight. Stella tells her that she had memorized all catalogues of subjects she and Lynette can no longer discuss and if that means that they have to talk about the weather for the next three months she is fine with that but she is staying. She goes upstairs to kick the child out of its room.

Carlos and Edie just finished having sex. Carlos tells her to raise her legs up and Edie is surprised to see that he wants to do it again. Carlos tells her that he had been doing a lot of research and gravity helps facilitate the sperm reaching the eggs. Edie doesn't like this and Carlos tells her that they are trying to have a baby and Edie asks him if they could be a little less clinical like let the nature take its course. Carlos tells her that the nature is not on their side anymore and tells her that she is not spring chicken and the eggs are not farm fresh and she tells him to stop referring to her as poultry. Carlos tells her that it is only 30 minutes and she tells him in shock that she won't stay in this position for half an hour. He tells her that he knows that this requires some sacrifices but it will be all worth it when they have their beautiful baby. He goes to the kitchen and asks her if she will get her anything. She tells him that she would kill for a beer and he tells her that there will be no alcohol. She in shock asks him for how long and he tells her just until the baby is born and until she stops nursing and tells her not to worry and she will bring her a nice herbal tea. He leaves the room while Edie is still in a state of shock.

Tom and Lynette are arguing in their bedroom. Tom tells her that they need someone to watch over the kids. Lynette tells him that she will not leave Stella in charge of their children and in three months twins will be chain smoking and Penny would be an alcoholic. Lynette tells him that they have McClusky and Tom tells her that she costs money, money that they won't have if they will be paying somebody to replace her at work. Lynette tells him that he told her not to worry about money that he will find it somewhere. Tom tells her that he did find the money and they can't thank her by kicking her out of the house. Lynette is furious that Tom asked her mother Stella for money. Tom tells her that Stella heard from Lucy and she gave them 10 000 $. Lynette tells him that he doesn't know half of the stuff she did to them. She would get drunk and smack them around and then she would meet some new guy and drop them off at her sister's for a week because he wasn't into kids. Tom tells her that she is a crappy mother but Lynette told him that she has mellowed (Stella is in front of the bedroom door listening to the conversation). Lynette wants him to understand and Tom tells her that he had been pretty understating lately. Lynette tells him that in the middle of everything she is dealing with he is going to throw Rick into her face. Tom tells her that when someone we love hurts us, if we still love them, we deal with it and we move on. (Stella is now listening carefully). Tom tells her that if he can do it so she can. Lynette tells him that her penance is forgiving her mother and Tom tells her that it is. They go to sleep and Stella goes to her bedroom.

Victor is in his bed reading some papers when Gabrielle's enters the room. Victor tells her that he thought that they weren't supposed to spend the night together before the wedding. Gabrielle tells him that she was trying to respect tradition but she got horny (She takes of her blue jacket and she is wearing sexy underwear). Victor points out that they will have to start honeymoon earlier. He tells her that he needs the minute to take the papers onto his desk and Gabrielle grabs one of the papers and she reads polling data and points out that the election is over. He tells her that he had been doing some research. Gabrielle knows that this is about the governor and she told him already how she feels about that. He tells her that his father organized some exploratory committee. Gabrielle tells him that they won't explore it. Gabrielle tells him that ever since they met it has been photo-ops and fund raisers and she is sick of it. He tells her that he is a politician and his career can't begin and end in the suburb. Gabrielle tells him that Fairview is her home and she won't leave it and she tells him that he can't make this decision on his own because she will be his wife and Victor tells her that she won't be his career advisor. Gabrielle tells him that she had once already married a man who put his career before her and she swore that it won't happen again. Victor tells her that he swore that he won't let some stupid woman hold him back. Gabrielle gets her jacket and starts leaving the room. Victor tells her that he didn't mean to say it that way and he has been under a lot of pressure. Gabrielle tells him that there is one less thing he needs to worry about and it is their wedding. Victor tells her that she can't cancel the wedding and Gabrielle tells him that it is just in a nick of time and leaves the room.

Someone rings the doorbell and it is Milton. Gabrielle opens the door and tells him that the newspapers aren't here yet. Milton tells her that he came here to apologize and she tells him that it is not his fault of happened. Milton tells her that that is not exactly the case and he asks her if he can come in. They are having morning coffee together. Milton tells her that she bolted because of the governor thing and Victor wants to be governor because of him. Gabrielle tells him that he had only suggested it and he can't make him go after something he doesn't want. Milton tells her that he can. Ever since Victor was a kid he had been killing himself trying to live up to his big shot father. He tells her that Victor is desperate for his approval. Gabrielle wants to know why and he tells her that it is because he had never gotten it. Milton tells her that everything he had done so far is not enough. He tells her that if there wasn't for him Victor wouldn't be so successful. Milton just wanted her to know why Victor does what he does. Gabrielle tells him that she gets it but why would she want a husband who values his father's opinion more then hers. Milton tells her that he doesn't care what he thinks anymore. After she left last night he had called him and tore him a new one. Victor told him that because of him he had lost the best thing that had ever happened to him and if he can't get her back Milton can take his money and buy a new son because he was never gonna be hearing from him again. Gabrielle is surprised that he blew off 80 million $ and asks Milton why isn't she hearing this from Victor when he cares about her so damn much. Milton tells her that she is about to. They look through the window and Victor arrives with bouquet and Milton asks her if there is a back way out of here. Milton is looking at Gabrielle and Victor through his limo window and he sees them hugging. He just smiles and drives away.

Edie is taking her money from her wallet and Carlos asks her if she is going to be late at Gabrielle's wedding. She tells him that she hates wedding because they are boring. She likes to sneak in the end and look teary eyed and pretend she was there the whole time. She takes the present and tells Carlos that she will see him at the reception. She opens the door and Denny the paper boy is in front of them and she tells Carlos to pay him and she rushes of to the wedding. Carlos takes his wallet out and tells Denny that he is a little short and asks him if he can catch him later. Denny tells him that he can't. Carlos starts going through Edie's bag and finds birth control pills. Denny asks him what is that and Carlos tells him but Denny tells him that he will need cash.

Orson and Bree are back home and Andrew is there to welcome home. He takes the bag and Orson notices that Julie is coming to say hello. Orson says hi to Julie loudly so that Andrew and Bree can hear that. Bree points out that Julie is blonder and she tells her that Susan hates it too. Julie asks her where Danielle is. Bree tells her that while they were in Switzerland they ran across this fabulous boarding school and she fell in love with it and insisted to let her spend a year abroad. Julie says that she is probably having a good time. She tells them that Danielle didn't return any of her phone calls. Andrew tells her that her school is up there in the mountains and the reception is funky. Julie tells them that she didn't return any of her e-mails. Bree tells her that she will call Danielle tonight and tell her about common courtesy and she can expect an e-mail first thing tomorrow. Bree tells them that she should take bracelet to Gaby before the wedding and Julie tells them that she will see them there and goes away. Orson points out that this was very uncomfortable and Andrew tells him that everyone has been asking questions. Bree tells them that this won't be as easy as they hoped.

Bree puts bracelet on Gabrielle's wrist and tells her that now she has something new. Gabrielle asks them how does she look and Lynette tells her that she is now officially the most beautiful bride that had ever lived…and looks at Susan and tells her until she puts on the wedding dress. Gabrielle tells them that it means so much to her that they are all here together.

It is the wedding in progress as Victor and Gabrielle are standing on the aisle together. Everyone is there but Edie is looking the wedding from the distance and she is drinking champagne. The waiter passes by and she gives him the tip and tells him to keep her coming with premium scotch. Carlos comes to her and Edie tells him that she didn't know that he was coming so soon. He shows her birth control pills. Edie tells him that she can explain. Carlos tells her not to bother because her lies were more convincing when he cared. Karen and Ida heard them fighting and they turned around to see what was going on. Carlos starts walking away but Edie goes after him and calls him name. Gabrielle heard that and she also turns to see what was going on. She tells Carlos that he has to understand. She does want to have a baby with him but she is not ready. She wanted to give him a chance to fall in love with her first. Carlos tells her that he doesn't believe her and he will never trust her again. Edie tells him that he backed her into a corner and he was going to bail on them and she was just trying to save what they had. Carlos starts to leave again but Edie tells him to talk with her and he tells her that he is done with her. He now walks away and she starts calling out his name while Gabrielle and Victor kiss and they are now officially married. Everyone stands up and starts applauding while Carlos takes the bottle of champagne and Edie screams that she is sorry and starts crying.

Karen McClusky is talking with Gabrielle. She tells her that the wedding was nice and very classy and she asks her what was going on between Edie and Carlos. Gabrielle tells her that she doesn't know and she doesn't care because today she is so full with love that she can forgive anyone anything. Gabrielle tells her that if she sees them again to call the security. Gabrielle goes over to the table where Bree, Susan, Lynette and Orson are sitting. Bree is telling the story about her pregnancy and she tells them that she was in Zurich and she was sick for the third morning in a row and she had hoped that she didn't develop and allergy to chocolate brioche. Orson took her to the hospital and doctor told them that she was two months pregnant already. Susan tells them that she can't be happier about her. Lynette asks her about the due date and Bree tells her that it is in the early fall. Bree tells them that it was enough about her and this is Gabrielle's day and she tells to Gabrielle that she didn't meet Victor yet. Gabrielle goes to grab him. Bree tells them that she is so happy to be back here and she can't believe how much is happening, Susan and Gabrielle both getting married and she having a baby. Bree asks Lynette if there is anything new about her and Lynette tells her that it is same old. Susan asks her one more time because she didn't seem as herself last couple of weeks. Lynette again tells them that she is fine.

Gabrielle is in the house and she hears Victor but she doesn't enter the room, she stays outside and she is overhearing the conversation. Victor tells Milton that he is exhausted and he will be glad to see this day over. Milton tells him that it was all worth it because marrying Gaby was the smartest thing he had ever done, because she will bring the Latino vote and the governor's mansion is as good as his. Victor tells him that he will have to change his mind because he had to make a certain concessions just to get her down the aisle. Milton tells him that he is a husband now and the different rules are now in the game. He tells him to be nice and to buy her a few pretty things and he will be able to tame that little spitfire. Victor tells him that he had always been able to manage his assets. Gabrielle goes outside and Bree asks her if she had found him. Gabrielle, who is clearly in a state of shock, tells her that she is still looking.

The kids are all watching the movie, which ended right now, with their grandma Stella. She tells them to go out and play. Kayla tells her that they will be playing guns outside and asks her if she can watch another movie. Stella tells her that Lynette told them that one movie was a limit and she will be home soon. Kayla tells her that she won't because whenever they go to the party they come home at least one hour later then they said they would. Stella points out that she is an observant little smart girl. Stella asks her about Rick and Kayla tells her that she knows Rick. Kayla tells her that Tom and Lynette had a big fight about him. Kayla asks her if she tells her all could she watch a good grown up movie. Stella tells her that she could if the story is a really good grown up story.

Susan brings over the appetizer for Mike and tells him about what they have to eat but she notices that he is asleep on his chair. Susan sees reverend and goes to him and tells him that it was really good and inspirational talk and then asks him if he has any duties tonight.

Gabrielle goes to her bride's room that is full of presents and stuff but Carlos is there. She tells him that she didn't know he was in here. He tells her that he got a little thirsty (he drank two bottles of champagne). She sits next to him and tells him that she can see that. Carlos tells her that he is sorry if he ruined her wedding and tells her that he also ruined his life. He tells her that a couple of years ago he was totally happy. He had a home, great career and Gabrielle and he doesn't understand how it all went to hell. He tells her that he is back at square one. He says sorry once again and tells her to go to Victor and that it is her wedding day. Gabrielle kisses him and they continue to kiss…

Lynette is back home and tells Stella that she doesn't know how she managed but the kids are asleep and the cough syrup hasn't been touched. Stella points out that she is just waiting for an excuse to give her a boot. Lynette tells her that if the history is any indicator she won't have to wait long. Stella asks her if she thinks that people can't change. Lynette tells her that at some point people are just who they are. Stella tells her that she thinks that people can change. Stella takes her for an example. She tells her that she was a perfect mother and wife and then along came Rick. Lynette is in shock and Stella tells her that she was young when she was sneaking around with Glen but she already knew that something was up. Lynette is in shock to hear that she had heard the story from her kids. Stella tells her that Kayla told her. She tells Lynette that Kayla knows that Tom got mad because Rick liked her. Lynette tells her that nothing happened between them, he came on to her but unlike Stella she controlled herself. Stella tells her that she has Tom to come home to and she had her stepfather. Lynette tells her that Glen may have bored her but the years they have spent with Glen were the happiest in her life. Lynette tells her that she didn't care about that and she drove him away. Stella tells her that she couldn't wait to pay her back and asks Lynette if she remembers what he had told her the next year when she got sick. Lynette obviously remembers but tells her that she doesn't. Stella calls her liar and tells her that she had told her that the god was punishing her and that she had earned it. She asks Lynette how she is feeling now. Does she think she is being punished? Stella tells her that she was so sanctimonious. She couldn't imagine what sort of woman could do such thing. Stella points out that it is not so hard to imagine now. Lynette tells her to stop comparing them because she had never did what she did. Stella tells her that she just wanted to. Lynette tells her that she is leaving tomorrow and that she doesn't need her money and she doesn't want her in her house. Stella tells her that she is sick and she doesn't know what she is in for. Stella tells her that she is going to feel worse then she thought that a person could feel and Stella would be holding her hand through every damn minute. Lynette tells her that she can't stay if she doesn't want her here. Stella tells her that she can fight her or she can fight the cancer because she won't have the strength to fight both.

Bree is writing an e-mail to Julie and she wrote down that the school in Switzerland is awesome and then calls for Andrew to check if young people still say awesome. He tells her to put off the hook but Bree tells him that doesn't make sense, Andrew tells her to type in groovy and to see if he cares and then leaves. The phone starts to ring and Bree answers. It is Danielle and Bree tells her that she is writing Julie Mayer a letter from her and asks her if she has to type in off the hook. Danielle tells her that her school is crappy or sucky or a freaking nightmare. Bree tells her that she will hang up if she starts complaining. Danielle tells her that she has to talk to the nuns because they are so harsh and they have all this stupid rules. Bree tells her if she had followed some of those rules she might not be in this little pickle. Danielle is so pregnant right now and tells her that she wants to come home. Bree tells her that she will stay put until that baby is born. She tells her that they will come to visit her this weekend but Danielle hangs up. Orson comes in and asks her if she wants her bath ready. Bree tells him that that would be lovely and asks for hand. He helps her to get off the bed and then they together unwrap something and take the pillow of her waist. They had been faking her pregnancy because they will wait until Danielle gives birth and then she will return with her baby but they will all pretend that it is Bree's baby. Orson points out that it is almost time for a six months size and Bree doesn't want to be reminded.

Mike has got a plumbing job and he puts his clothes on. Mike just wants her name and address and she tells her that her name is Emmeline Walcott and she lives on Old Mill road. He tells her that he has to stop and pick up a Douglas valve, but he will be there in 45 minutes. Susan tells him that she hates to see him drive when he is this tired. He tells her that there is some ice coffee in the fridge and he will be fine. He goes out and Susan rushes to Julie's room. She tells her that she was great and Julie is holding the phone and tells her that she should never have doubted her. Susan tells her to get dressed and ready they have only forty five minutes left.

Mike is driving down the road and reverend gets out of the wood and Mike stops. Reverend comes to the window and asks him if he is Mike. He tells him that he is. Mike tells him that he is looking for Mrs. Walcott and reverend tells him that he had come to the right place and tells him to put the suit on (and there is a note that says "Wear me…love Susan").

He wants to know what Susan is up to and reverend tells him to ask her himself. He is in the middle of the forest and there is a decoration…the lights and the little aisle where Susan in wedding dress and Julie are waiting. Mike asks her if she is sure because he doesn't want her to look back and to regret not having a perfect wedding. She tells him that her idea of perfect wedding is constantly changing but only he is always there and besides him every wedding will be perfect. Julie tells him to check the breast pocket of his suit. He checks it and there are rings for both of them there. Susan tells him with a smile that he will be paying for the rings, the lights and the flowers. He tells her that he had never seen her look so beautiful. They kiss and reverend asks them if they are ready and Julie tells him that they have been dragging this thing for three years. Julie turns the music on and the music starts playing while reverend starts reading out his words (camera slowly fades away)…

"Family, there is nothing more important (Susan and Mike are drinking champagne and reverend takes the photograph and takes the picture of the Mike, Susan and Julie). They are the ones who show up when we are in trouble… (Stella is cleaning the living room while Lynette looks at her). The ones who push us to succeed (Victor and Milton are talking while Gabrielle watches them from afar). The ones who help keep our secret (Bree is cleaning her closet while Orson looks at her). But what of those who have no family to rely on (Edie leaves the drink on the table and there is a latter to "Her beloved Carlos"). What happens to those poor souls who have no loved ones to help them in the hour of need (Edie takes her scarf and she is on the top of a chair…we see the scarf flying through the air)? Well, most learn to walk life's road by themselves. (We see the picture of Edie and her mother and then the picture of Edie and Carlos and we hear the noise, like the chair falling) But a sad few of us simply stop trying. (Edie hanged herself and we see her legs hanging in mid air)"
