    • Goof: After Bree throws water on Orson to wake him, the upper part of his shirt goes from being spotted with water to being soaked.
    • The episode marks the first use of a "To Be Continued..." card in the aired series. Although in the DVD sets for season two released in some regions, at the end of "Remember (1)", a small "To Be Continued..." is seen at the end of the episode.

    • The scene in which Gabrielle is featured inside a Macy's West Linens department lounging on a bed, was shot on location on the Macy's on the city of Pasadena, California. After the scene aired, Macy's pulled out signs which read "As seen in Desperate Housewives".
    • Even though he is credited, Zane Huett (Parker Scavo) does not appear in this episode. Additionally, even though both Brent and Shane Kinsman (Preston and Porter) are credited, only one of the twins appears in this episode.
    • On its original airing this episode scored 18.1 million viewers. The ratings did very well, considering the episode was competing with the 49th annual Grammy awards.
    • Marcia Cross' character Bree is bed-ridden when she falls from the ladder, this is because the actress has been put on bed-rest herself for her pregnancy.

    • I Claudius: Bree comments to Orson that his mother is something out of I Claudius. She is referring to the character of Livia, the wife of Augustus who schemed, plotted and had many people murdered who stood between her son Tiberius and the Roman Imperial throne. I Claudius is a famous novel by Robert Graves and a very famous BBC mini-series that ran on PBS in the United States.
    • Episode Title: "I Remember That" is taken from a song in the Stephen Sondheim musical "Saturday Night".
