Katherine welcomes her aunt Lillian into her house. Lillian is going to die soon, and Katherine wants her to be in her old house surrounded by loved ones when that happens. Katherine asks her aunt what it feels like dying, and Lillian tells her it isn't so bad, the only problem is she doesn't want to die with an uneasy conscience. Lillian wants to tell Dylan what she and Katherine did. Katherine doesn't want to, and tries to prevent her aunt from then on to tell her daughter Dylan the truth.
Katherine has given her aunt a bell, so she can ring it whenever she needs something, and someone will come to her. When Katherine leaves, Lillian calls Dylan to tell her what happened. But Katherine comes back and tells Dylan to go practice her instrument before Lillian has the chance to say anything concrete. Katherine takes her aunt's bell away. Later, while Dylan is practising, Lillian tries to call her, but fails to be heard. Lillian writes the truth on a small piece of paper, folds it, and, as she dies, drops the paper to the floor, and it rolls to under the bed.

Bree wants to give the gift to the church, but Orson and Andrew go out of their way to keep it. Bree's friends want to throw a baby shower for Bree, but she doesn't want one, fearing her fake pregnancy will be discovered. Andrew helps the women throw a shower anyway, and when Bree and Orson arrive home one afternoon, they are surprised to see their friends are all there, including Phyllis. Bree is mad at Andrew when she finds out he was responsible for the party. Phyllis and Bree argue over Rex and how much Bree hates her, and Bree lets it slip that Phyllis and her never got along because Rex was the one who couldn't stand having his mother over at their house. So Bree always took the blame for her husband. Phyllis is upset by this. She decides to leave, but first, she wants her fur coat back, and goes upstairs to get it after Andrew tells her where it was. Bree becomes worried, and when she gets upstairs Phyllis has already discovered the fake pregnancy paddings in Bree's closet. Bree tells her she only wants a second chance at raising a child. Phyllis plans to tell everyone the truth, but doesn't, later telling Bree she's not the only one who wants a second chance. Later, Phyllis arrives at the convent where Danielle is staying, and takes her granddaughter with her.
Edie learns from her gynecologist she has crabs, and she got them for sharing a towel at the gym. She talks with Carlos about it, and they must get rid of the crabs with a licorice-smelling shampoo and a fine-toothed comb. Carlos grows concerned and tells Gabrielle, with whom he is also sleeping, that he has crabs, so she must too, and maybe even Victor. Gabrielle must get rid of Victor's crabs without him knowing, so she disguises as a nurse and plans an erotic evening with him, scrubbing his genitals with the shampoo and then searching for crabs with the comb. At Bree's baby shower, though, Edie notices that Victor smells like the shampoo she's using for the crabs, and starts to put two and two together.
Susan, who was busy painting, welcomes the new gay neighbors, Bob Hunter and Lee McDermott, to the lane. Susan tries so hard to become their friend, but it becomes difficult. Susan offers Lee cookies she bought, but tells him she made them all by herself. Lee asks if there are any nuts in the cookies, because he's allergic, and Susan can't answer because she didn't make them herself. She tells the truth, and Lee, very rudely, makes some awful comments and shuts the door on her face. Later, Julie finds the couple's dog, Raphael, and Susan plans to keep the dog locked up in the garage until her new neighbors become worried, and then she'll make it seem like she saved the dog. While Lee is looking for Raphael, Susan gets out of the baby shower and searches for it, making Lee very grateful. Susan goes to get them some bottled water while they search for the dog, and Bob arrives home from work. Bob asks Lee where Raphael is, and Mike also arrives home. When he opens his garage door, Raphael gets out of the garage, and he has paint on his paws. He jumps onto Bob, ruining his expensive suit, and leaves a trail of paint straight to Susan's garage. Mike has to buy a new suit for Bob, and he finally snaps at Susan for being so desperate to become their friend, and tells her to just let it go.

They decide that they should just make love as Tom and Lynette, which makes them both happy.
