I just love this show since the beginning even i just didn't really liked season 5 :s


For me writers didn't used well the "five year later" thing, which could have been so amazing !! It was a kind of boring, nothing really happened this year, too bad !





My favorite season is the fourth, I just loved the tornado episode, my favorite episode of all TV shows !! The 4x03 was amazing too, just the season finale that was just Amazing





About seasons 1 to 3, I would just say that season 1 was one of the best (it's maybe the funniest) the second was a little boring too, but even good and the third was very interesting !!





Anyway, just hope season 6 will be better than season 5 !!

Desperate Housewives is such a fun show to watch, something I could just sit down with some ice cream and a cold can of coca-cola and just watch, it's so relaxing. I love how each episode has something new, something unique. I love all the characters, well, nearly all of them. Susan is my favourite, but I love all the other main housewives because they all bring something individual to the show. It's great to go through the seasons and discover along with the characters their secrets and mysteries and love lives to the extent of being extremely entertained. A well written show and definetly worth watching.

I love this show. I don't watch much tv with 4 kids, all in some sport or another and 2 dogs and a husband in some sport or another and a full time job. Well I had some time one day and watched a re-run on lifetime and loved it. So I went to Blockbuster and rented every single season and episode and it's taken about 2 months to watch them all but now I have to get caught up with Season 5. My 15 year old daugher and I have gotten so caught up in it that we talk about the characters all the time and compare people we know to them. And in February we actually went to Universal Studios and got to by Wisteria Lane during a taping. Besides Dexter and UCF fights this is the only tv I watch.

i love this show is my favorite and is very entertaining and funny the girls are wonderfull actresses i never miss an episode from this show my favorite is eva longoria she's very funny and susan. i hope it never end and than the producers keep doing such a good work with the show it deserve a better rating from one to ten i give then a ten . love it love it love it. the acting is so important in a show like this one and let me tell you in this one the acting is perfect every women in the show is acting perfect.

First let me start from all the talks about Orson/Bree.Yes its crazy that Mark Cherry let Orson take the plunge for running over Mike(who is still alive) and let go the juvenille crime of Andrew and the big cover up by Bree.But on Andrew's defense he kind of did his time on the streets when Bree threw him out of the house.Bree on the other hand went unhurt and forced Orson in jail..Not Done..Yes, so I dont think I sympathize with Bree this time.





Gaby/Carlos slowly becoming the eternal soulmates showed their longetivity by proving that they still want to be together and are ready to face their fears instead of biting it on each others back behind closed doors.I guess every couple learns from their mistakes and it turns out to be the best when they finally start talking. This was a very mature move by Gaby and yes she's grown for good and the best- She accepts that she does not want ot falter anymore.





It was sweet of Karl to come back in Susan's life. though his son seemed to creep me out.So what now , is it gonna be Karl+Susan again? and the 2 kids together.. Well I certainly hope not.





Thank God Katherine din't bite the bullet with her death.But i don't think we have seen strong chemistry between Mike and her yet.So I din't feel much of that angle.





Finally the last 10 minutes.. Whooosh!!! I almost broke down and had shivers when Dave choked Edie..but never imagined that one of our favourite DH characters would have such a gruesome end..We did see her hang herself before and that was shaky as well.But this takes the cake..I feel the departure was written very minutely with Orson to be balmed(which i would have never imagined).This was one of the most interesting twists in this series given the fact - CITY ON FIRE- was such a dissapointment. But surely I will miss Edie Britt a lot..I hope she comes back and she becomes the narrator from now. Anyways I feel there is no significance left MARY ALICE anymore. And Edie Britt should tkae up the narration. That way she will live with us forever.

After a creative letdown in season 2, a lot of viewers changed the channel and left this show for what it was. The same happened after the 4th season, but whatever people may say: there's still enough quality to make this show worth watching.


There's it's witty humour and interesting season mysteries that make this show not only appropriate for women, which is it's main audience (and oftenly mistaken for it's only), but also for men. The stories are interesting and the acting is superb. Of course, like every show it has some flaws and there are some inconsistencies regarding ages etc., but if you are able to look past that, you see a wonderful show which keeps interesting.

The show just drags you into the story from episode one and you can't help yourself but wait with anticipation every next episode. Four housewives, each one with a unique story and each one equally interesting will keep you glued to the TV screen for 45 minutes. My personal favorite is Bree and her unusual story and Gabriele, with her little love adventures. Of course, there's a fifth "housewife", Eddie to spice up the life of people in Wisteria Lane.


I would recommend this show to everyone, because it's not just another typical soap opera, it's an unique story that can be enjoyed by everyone.

OMG i love this freacking show so much! Its so Unpredictable you never know what is going to happen, I love the fact that each character has a totally different story and that in every episode something always happends to make you want to watch more and more and more, Those Housewives are some crazy Biatches too and they are sooo funny,Whether or not its suppose to be funny it is. The whole concept of people dying and Always something completley ridiculous happening in every episode. Each character has a individual Storyline in every episode and i think that this show will be going for a long time and hopefully im right (=

i dont get it when people talk about how its always past its prime, and its a girls show, im male and i tend to love watching this show every week. The intensity of this show is amazing! there is a bit of everything in this show for eveyrone. It just keeps getting better and better every season. Dave bring alot of mystery to the show, although i do think that there postponing to reveal what is really going on with him. I find it really interesting on how they decided to go 5 years in the future, who knows what theyll do next season?

Desperate Housewives depicts the lives of housewives and their families. The show is narrarated by Mary Alice Young, who commits suicide in the first episode. The housewives include the materialistic Gaby, the clumsy Susan, the smart Lynette and domestic Bree. This show has many funny plot lines, and they deal with real life in a unique and often humorous way. The issues these housewives deal with are relatable to real life, and the show really shows you don't know exactly what goes behind closed doors. Season 1 is probably my favourite season, with season 4 close behind, and my favourite mystery was either season 1 or season 4. A quality show, and an absolute guilty pleasure.

This show first of has an amazing cast. The actors/actress in this show seems to be so in tune with their characters. Although, some of the story lines seem a little bit out there they are still good to watch and will defiantly give you something to laugh about. You can even look at your own life and think... "well I guess it could be worse." There is tons of drama and mystery in this show so if you are a fan than I would defiantly recommend this show to anyone. I would give this show 9/10. I would say this show could be perfect if they brought the plot a little more down to earth. This is a fun and exciting show that has great acting and storylines. There is always a twist around the corner on Wisteria Lane.

desperate housewibes is one of the best tv show in the tv rigth now. the show has changed a lot, but in my opinion for better. With this show I have learnt the importance of friendship, the most important thing in our live. So I have to say that the work of eva longoria, felicity, marcia and tery is amazing!!!! they are excellent actricces, and they do this show perfect. thanks for everithing and I hope that they will be doing this great job other 5 years, because i can not imagine a world without desperate housewives. . . .

The show revolves around several housewives who live in the suburbs of Wisteria Lane. Bree, the model housewife, is always composed well mannered and prepared for any occasion. She's a god-fearing churching going member of the NRA. Susan is a clumsy undomestic single mother who's always getting herself into some kind of trouble.





Lynette is a stay at home mom of four kids who are slowly driving her insane with all their antics. Gabrielle is a former model turned unsatisfied housewife. She is a little spoiled and sometimes even annoyingly so but we love her anyway.





Edie is the ravenous she-wolf that preys on the single men of Wisteria Lane. Most of the time Edie is the woman we love to hate. She loves to show off and can't resist a challenge.





Many mysteries and explainations revolve around these women and their spouses and one woman sorts it all out from beyond the grave. Mary Alice Young who shot herself in the first episode narates the stories. Each episode has small secrets which belong to each of the housewives and one big secret which is revealed at the end. The first mystery was the death of Mary Alice Young.





Besides being dramatically entertaining, the show has a slight comical slant which often breaks the tension. Take the many adventures of Susan Baker for example, she is always getting herself into some kind of humorous and usually embarassing situation.

desperate housewives is the show that gave me the feeling that simple, normal people have interesting lives too. it makes you understand the importance of friendship and from each character you have something to learn: susan let's you know that sometimes is better to be alone, bree reminds you that perfection is just as state of mind, gaby proves once again that you don't need money to be happy and lynette gives you another perspective on the word "control".desperate housewives makes you realize that everyone has a dirty little secret; the show portrays pieces of life as they are: funny, dramatic or tagic reminding us that problems come and go, what it matters is how we deal with them. it's a juicy show if you know how to enjoy each part of it.

I think this episode is the best of all 100 episodes.I started to lose hope about the show while watching season 5 but when I saw this episode my feelings got back.All 5 stories were simply beautiful.It was really nice to see Mary Alice once again. I really love her performances on the show.Bree`s story was so touching and at the end when she said "I wanted to fix something for Eli,for a change" just made me cry. And I think that this really is the best thing that could have happened to Desperate Housewives.Keep up the good work girls!!!

Eli was a very special man, some may see him as "just the handyman", but people at Wisteria Lane sees him as a friend that they can count on. Eli maybe fixing broken things but if you look real closely he is fixing more than that.





This one can make you laugh, cry and most importantly appreciate life and the people you come across with, people that touches our lives in ways we never know. Teaches us to always say thank you before its too late.





You'll know that you couldn't ask for more when you watch this one. The writers really did a wonderful job. It will be my most favorite episode in Desperate Housewives.

I have watched Desperate Housewives since the pilot episode and I have to say that it just keeps getting better and better. We are now half way through season 5 and just had the 100th episode (which was absolutely brilliant, by the way) and the ladies are as great as they have ever been. There are so many excellent characters that there are too many to mention individually. Even the 5 year jump between seasons 4 and 5 was a stoke of genius. The whole show is superbly written and the acting is fantastic. It really is still one of the best shows around right now.

It's hard to believe this is the 100th episode of Desperate Housewives. But it couldn't have been better. And I honestly think it ranks among the series' best, and certainly among the most moving episodes they've ever done. This episode was just so full of emotion, that I actually got choked up (and that rarely ever happens with me!) on several occasions. This could've been corny and cliche, but it was just terrific.





While I think all of the ladies were simply fantastic (especially Eva and Teri), Beau Bridges was truly the brightest star. The guy has such a warm and likeable presence, you really can't help but smile when he's around. I also loved the callbacks to season 1 (especially when Eva makes the comment about shooting herself in the head, then lightly slapping Mary Alice on the shoulder! Ha!) as well as Eli's interactions with each of the ladies. Some really funny stuff in there, as well.





If you needed proof that the creative team behind this series still has their mojo, this is the episode to watch. The flashback device was handled extremely well, the performances are top-notch, and there's plenty of humor and heart to spare. I'd definitely say this is a series classic.

I like this show because all the characters are likable, creative, and improving. They change over the seasons witch makes them seem more human. I also like the fact that in every season there is a mystery and as the show goes on the seasons get juicier and more mysterious. I am also honored to say that the 100th episode of this show was aired on my 14th birthday and that was one of the best gifts I got because it is one of my favorite shows. I like it when they skipped over five years, even though One Tree Hill created that, because it dramatically changed the lives of the housewives and the mystery became better. I really enjoy this series and I hope it sticks around a while longer.

Its Worth Watching Its Fun Will Absoultly Say I Cant Wait For Sundays To Come To Get Desperate And Sexy With The Desperate Housewives.

My girlfriend really gives me a hard time for watching this show. I have to point out that she has never watched a single episode. This show may be centered around a group of women in a neighorhood and their lives. But, this show is full of murder, deceit, and comedy. This is one of my favorite shows. It is not my very favorite but, defineately in the top 10. I was in the militart stationed overseas and am 1 season behind because I had to watch them on DVD. I am catching up to the current episode. To me TV shows are easier to watch on either a DVD set or I-Tunes because I have a busy schedule and do not have Tivo.

Desperate Housewives follows 5 women who live in Wisteria Lane. Each of the characters have their own family problems and personal issues. What makes this show unique is that no two characters are the same. All five of the main characters are friends, who all share secrets with each other, and yet they all still have secrets about their own families, thus making the show and the characters more realistic. The storylines are far from boring, and with each new season, comes a new gripping storyline. Due to there being 5 main female characters, we get a different perspective of the story from each of them. The twists are very interesting, to watch and with new characters appearing in each season, the storylines keep getting better and better.

Yeap dh is better now but sometimes is a litle bit slow but I forgive them,





when does gaby is going to have her makover cuz she cind of needs it desperatly now on the 5th season they go 5 years in to the future to me it sounds a litle bit like one tree hill but hey its not bad, not bad at all just that susan whith her painting guy


they couldnt find anybody less apealling but anyway I thougt that the twins were the midle children and parker was the oldest dont understand and another thing... does anybody think that gaby's doughters are to horrible!!!

I am rather surprised at the comments of one or two people concerning this episode. Wysteria Lane and its inhabitants are fictional. The bar in which the fire occurred is also fictional. I don't understand how someone who enjoys a series arrives at the view that the episode, which technically, is sort of based in the future (isn't the whole of the series, given the 5-year jump?) is about (or connected to) a real-life incident, and on that basis, decides to never again watch the show.





Similar events occur all around the world. Story writers read and watch the news, and get inspiration from any number of places. Does this mean that anyone who writes about a plane hijacking is referring to 9-11? Or a sinking ship - Titanic?





That said, maybe I missed something in the credits, in which case, take what I've said with a pinch of pepper's fellow condiment!





This was a good episode. The technique of starting in the future, jumping back to the past, working back towards the start of the episode's predicament, and then showing how it shapes up is a tried-and-tested story-telling method. The plot thickens with Dave. What exactly is he up to? I have my suspicions, but if he wants to enact vengeance against Mike (for reasons I won't say here, just in case), surely they could've been more subtle with that part of the storyline? I suspect a twist. Perhaps he actually has an issue with Carlos or Orson, both of whom were in prison...





Lynette and Tom's grip on Porter further weakens as hormones and emotion take over...





There are small developments for most characters that move the episode along nicely, making it one of the better episodes so far.

I used to love this show. the last season was realy thrilling but was cut short.


I waited to see how the story would evolve only to see that every thing was started from scratch

it looks like the writes were replaced, and they had no understanding of the carecters so they decided to reinvent every thing from scratch !

I love desperate housewives,keeps getting better.Im curious to see who dies though because the whole show will have to take a different spin.I heard that Mike might die because he killed Dave's brother who was the policeman, quite from season1. But i read something that said 2 main characters are gonna die....so if Mike is one, who will be the second.. It cant be Carlos because Gaby bearly managing the children, neither Orson because he's too sweet...the suspense is the scary part...and the sad thing is that Katherine now started dating him..she will devastated.. it would be a pity.This is my first review so I would appreciate some feedback as to whatever mistake i made.

Now the whole Carlos-Gaby-Hildebrandt is certainly something.Frances Conroy just nails the role of a manipulative lonely woman who knows how to get what she wants.





Now finally to Bree and Katherine. I love to see a more fragile side of Katherine and that she is able to show it (partially) to Bree. So sweet that Bree wants to fix her up,and so awesome it turns out to be such a comedic set up.


The phone call between Katherine and Bree is my all time favourite DH scene.


K: "I think he might steal my heart."


B:"If he tries, promise to call me."


This moment is just priceless. I was cracked up and couldn´t get it together for a few minutes.


Now the scene later in which Bree confesses the truth about Katherine´s date is sweet, but Katherine´s tears rather comedic. Not really desperate, but in need to show some sort of hysterical reaction.


The "sisters" part was very fitting, especially as I think if Katherine and especially if Bree had a real sister, they´d so be competitors. ;-)


The friendship between these two is really wonderful and I enjoy it. Generally there aren´t many one-on-one friendship stories in DH, so this one is really nice.





Now Mrs McClusky and her sister seem like a great team and I can´t wait to find out what they find out. *gg*





All in all one of the very best DH-episodes ever. Really really good. Well-written and well-acted.

desperate housewives is one of the best shows around season five already cant believe it i remember season 1 episode 1 like yesterday. mary alice and her gun commiting suicide and then paul an zach young now there gone and season five we have still got the main cast plus loads new faces loving edies new man hes a fiesty man cant wait to see more of him although poor karen mccluskey shes going where he came from the mad hoose lol! gabby is fat with kids which is great too see how much u change in five years and very true the twins are all grown up too and susans littleboy is adorable. anyone not seen DH then i advise ya to go watch it youll no be able to stop enjoy!!!!

As long as Gale Harold is on, the rest falls in place! Susan is so much more interesting with Jackson/MJ/Mike kicking around with envey and emotions. Dave has lost his mind and I can't wait till they catch onto him! I wonder why he wants Mike in his sights so badly! I also applaude Eva for portraying a real life wife, even for a short time! I never cared for her, but she's grown on me. I just hope Jackson stays. He's one of my favorite actors and I enjoy seeing him on a tv series again.

A show Mrs. Bush watches when she is desperate is obviously a fantastic show. This show is full of action, suspense and fun. Most of the episodes begin timidly but end up very interesting and keeps one desperate to watch the next episode. The housewives are very intelligent and use all kinds of methods to insure the smooth functioning of their home. Violence, sex and Money are some of the tools the housewives use to keep their husbands. This show gives light to desperate women and also techniques for young husbands to rule over their wives. I personally love this show because it helps me know what really happens in people's homes when they have the kind of problems in this show. For anyone who has not watched this movie yet, I say you are missing an incredible show. It is a mixture of fun, love and hatred when the housewives meet to share their day's activities or when it comes to parties. I just enjoy my evening with the episodes. Make an effort to watch every single episode.
