Desperate Housewives

Gabrielle is in the hospital in the room with Juanita who is still in a coma.

"Gabrielle was waiting for her next great idea. Her first great idea came when she was fifteen after her stepfather paid her a late night visit (We see just Gabrielle on the bed (just her legs) and the fat bold guy enters the room with beer can), she bought the bus ticket to New York the very next day. Her next occurred five years later when she decided to seduce a famous fashion photographer (we see Gabrielle on the bed and a guy walks in with two glasses of wine). One week later she began her career as a runway model which soon led to her next great idea her decision to marry Carlos Solis (we see Gabrielle on the bed probably just taken off her wedding dress and Carlos walking in the room with his tux and bottle of champagne). Before she knew it she had jumped off the runway and moved to the suburbs. Her most recent great idea was born out of her boredom with her new life (we see Gabrielle on her bed and John walks in all sweaty drinking water and she throws bra at him). That's how she came to start an affair with her teenage gardener, which was cut short by a tragic accident (Gabrielle is in a hospital room looking at Juanita). So once again Gabrielle was in need of a great idea."

Nurse walks in and tells her that she knows that she is worried but it will take time. Gabrielle asks her what will take time and nurse explains to her that it will take time for Juanita to wake up. Gabrielle looks at her with confusion and nurse explains that she is looking sad and asks her if she has been thinking about her mother in law and Gabrielle just tells her no and she has been thinking about her life and it hasn't turned the way she wanted it too. She shouldn't complain she knows that but there is just something missing. She asks nurse if she ever feels that way nurse tells her that she doesn't because she knows that once she is home that she did something that helped people and she sleeps like a baby but sometimes she feels sorry for working so hard because they have poor salary and they keep cutting their budget. There is a code blue and nurse walks out of room and one patient is choking and they need to put a tube in him to help him breath. Gabrielle goes with nurse to see what she will do.

"It was then that Gabrielle got her next great idea. She decided to throw a first annual Sacred Heart charity fashion show to raise money for more nursing staff (Gabrielle is home with all those dresses and there are ladies all around deciding which one to wear)" Betty, one lady, approaches her and tells her that she looks so fat in these dresses and Gabrielle tells her that she won't quit on her now and she will find her a gown and she will look nice in it.

"And that night when she went to bed Gabrielle slept like a baby."



"News of the fashion show spread quickly on Wisteria Lane (we see ladies going to Gabrielle's house). Though the event was for charity Gabrielle soon discovered when it came to the latest fashions women are seldom charitable. (Edie is looking some dresses) No one knew this better then Edie Britt. (She finds a beautiful dress but it says on the little paper Susan Mayer). She knew that treachery never goes out of "

Edie takes the dress but Susan is there and she takes it back. Edie tells her that it was worth the shot.

Gabrielle asks Helen Rowland how the dress is fitting and she needs to make it better a little bit over the shoulder. Gabrielle helps her about the dress and Helen tells her that she never thanked her properly for hiring her son as gardener. Gabrielle tells her that it has been her pleasure. She tells him that she heard that he is dating Danielle Van De Kamp. Helen tells her that it is just a matter of time before they break up for good because she wants serious relationship and he doesn't.

Carlos screams on the phone and tells that if Tanaka doesn't call him he will go to his office and kick his ass. He hangs up and everyone looks at him. He says hello to old the ladies. Susan asks Gabrielle if Carlos has trouble at work and she tells her that he makes money left and right and she doesn't know what the problem is.

Edie is sad because all the good dresses are taken. Lynette tells her that Martha never showed up and she can wear her dress. Edie points out that it is an old lady dress and they won't see her body. Bree asks them why didn't Martha show up and Edie tells them that she is off to visit her sister. Edie points out also that she can't believe Martha would agree to wear this because she always said that she would never be caught dead in black.

"Sadly for Mrs. Huber this was no longer the case." Martha is wrapped in black plastic bags and Paul is digging a hole and he puts her body there and the blender he used to kill her. He starts throwing dirt at her.



Susan just checked mail and Julie got the latter from Zach. Susan wants her to open it and Julie admits that it is not the first latter from Zach and they are pen pals. Susan tells her that he is in a mental institution and Julie tells her that he is not mad, he just upset over his mothers' death and Paul doesn't seem to care. Julie tells her that he needs a friend.



Tom is taking children to the park and he is checking if he brought everything with him. He tells Lynette that he will be gone for a couple of hours and she can enjoy her vacation. She gives him a look and tells him that while he is gone she will be paying the bills sorting the laundry and making dinner and it doesn't sound like vacation to her. Tom tells her that he will pick up dinner on the return and she can take hot bath and recharge. She again gives him the look and he tells her that he knows that it will take more then that to recharge and tells her that he will be here all the week. She asks him what after that and he tells her that they will return to normal again. Lynette tells him that last time when it was normal she was on ADD and Tom tells her that they will make a solution. Lynette tells him that they should hire a nanny full time. Tom tells her that it is a big commitment. Lynette tells him that she knows that they can't afford it and everything that happened is her fault but if they don't hire a nanny there is a big probability that she will lose her mind.



Andrew is preparing to swim and he is talking and laughing with his friends. Bree and Rex are in the audience. Bree tells Rex that it is not right because Juanita is in a coma because of him and there he is laughing and it seems like he doesn't care. Rex tells her that they grounded him and took away TV in his room and there are no more ways to punish him. The race starts and Andrew jumps into the pool. Bree tells him that they should make him quit his swim team and Rex tells her that it is the only thing he is passionate about. Bree tells him that if they take him away the swimming maybe he will finally understand what he did because he didn't show an ounce of remorse for what he did. Rex tells him that he feels bad but he is keeping up a façade. Rex tells her that if he quits the swimming he will lose the chance at athletic scholarship. Bree tells him that if it means that he will have a little trace of humanity inside of him then it is better to quit swimming and she will take that risk but Rex tells her that he won't. Bree tells him that that is because he doesn't love him as much as she does because he grew up inside of her. (The argument is pretty loud now and man in front of them is distracted) Rex tells her that Andrew hung up in her womb back in the eighties and since then he has grown up to love him as much as she does. The race is finished and she asks a man in front of them what happened and he tells them that the kid they both love so much won the race.



John comes to Gabrielle. It is full of women who are helping the preparations of the fashion show. Gabrielle is surprised to see him. He tells her that his mother told him that they need a volunteer. She asks him if he has a charity bug and he asks her if he is surprised. She approaches him and tells him that he was always a giver. He tells her to knock it off because his mother is right here. Helen is on the far other side of the table. She tells him to alphabetize the donation card. She sits across him and asks him if he will break up with Danielle. He tells her that he may. She asks him if that is because of him and he tells her that not everything is about her. Under the table she takes off one high heel shoe and touches him between the legs. He tells her to stop it and asks him if he has been thinking about her. He tells her that he hasn't been thinking about her and she touches him again and tells him that he can't fool her.

Susan comes to the room and asks Helen if she needs any help with seating cards. Helen tells her to pull up a chair and a couple of cards fall down. Susan takes them but some are under the table and she crouches to get them but then looks around and sees the leg on the crotch. She stands up so quickly and bumps her head in the table. She stands up then and sees that Gabrielle and John are the one touching under the table.



Susan knocks on Gabrielle's door. Gabrielle opens and asks her if she wants to help with the seating card and Susan tells her if she can explain why she had her foot in John Rowland's crotch yesterday. She tells her that he was helping her adjust the seam in her stocking and from her angle it must have looked a little weird. Susan says that she is sleeping with him and Gabrielle tells her that she is but she can't tell anyone. Susan tells her that he is in high school and it is illegal and she is married and if Carlos found out about this it would kill him. Gabrielle tells her that it is just harmless sex and Susan is shocked that she can call something like that harmless. She wants to know how she could do something like that after she knew what she went through with Karl. Gabrielle tells her that this is not about her and Susan tells her that it is about her and about every other person who was screwed over by someone they love. Susan tells her that Gabrielle saw what a basket case she was after Karl went with Brandi…she was crying, she was ripping his clothes off, she couldn't get out of the bed all day. Susan is mad that she could have done the same thing and Gabrielle tells her that she can't compare her to Carlos because she doesn't have any idea what her life is like. Susan wants to be enlightened because she tells her that she is beautiful, has more money then she can spend and has a husband who adores her. Gabrielle tells her that he adores having her and Susan tells her that that is a rationalization and she knows it. Susan walks away and tells her that they will see each other at the show.



Lynette and Bree are talking. Lynette is putting Penny in the safe place in the car and Lynette tells Bree that she interviewed ten nannies and one actually asked if she was expected to change diapers. Lynette wants Bree's help because all of her friends have A nannies and she needs to catch one without their bosses so she can poach one. It was the same when she worked and it can't be that different with nannies. Bree tells her that stealing the nanny is not right. Lynette tells her that she won't hurt anyone but if she makes a better offer why wouldn't nanny reap the benefits. Lynette asks Bree where can she find some high grade nanny and Bree gives her a look.



Gabrielle approaches John and he tells her that he has awesome news, he broke off with Danielle, he gave her a list during the French and they can be together now. Gabrielle tells him that Susan saw them last night and she knows everything. John is shocked.



Bree gets a fertilizer from her bag and she is about to fertilize her lawn. Andrew is looking through the window and Bree sees him.

"Since the accident Bree had started to worry her son's sense of morality was going up in smoke. She was right to be concerned (He puts off marijuana and hides the stuff away)"

She knocks on the door and Andrew opens the door smiling. She wants to know why he is smiling and he tells her that it is a joke that he heard. Bree wants to know if he finally realized all the pain he caused to Solis' family and the true reason why he has been grounded. He tells her that he totally knows now everything. Bree gets into the room and sits on the bed. He tells her that after something that he did and something that they did, which is cool, everything balances itself out. Bree doesn't get it and she then feels the smell. She asks him if he has been smoking marijuana and he smilingly tells her that he didn't. She then realizes that he is high and gets out of the room. She goes to the kitchen and takes a little plastic container. She returns to room and show it to Andrew. He wants to know what that is and she tells him that it is a container he will be urinating in and grabs his ear and drags him to toilet.



Paul is cleaning blood from his pants put they are too damaged. He puts them in the trash bag and goes outside to throw them but Dr. Sicher is in front of the house. Paul lets him in. Doctor tells him that Zach is missing from Silvercrest, it happened yesterday evening and probably during the shift change.



John is playing basketball with his friend Justin. He doesn't get it why he broke up with Danielle because she was so slutty at Ray's party. John tells him that she is not his type. Justin gets it that he is still hanging out with his mysterious married lady and wants to know more about it. John tells him that she doesn't treat him like some lame yard boy. He tells him that her friend found about them and if it goes public her husband is going to kill him. Helen his mother is throwing garbage and Justin tells John (both of them not noticing her) that his social position at school is going to explode when people find out that he is doing the hot housewife. His mother Helen overheard that and she is in shock.



Paul wants to know how Zach could have ran away because with money that he is paying them they should have higher security. Doctor tells him that they are not high security facility and he tells him that he restricted their ability to treat Zach because he insisted that they medicate him without psycho therapy and that is a recipe for disaster. Doctor tells him that Zach is very troubled and he is getting progressively worse.

Zach is looking through some window and in the house…Julie asks him if he is hungry and she brought him food.



"Bree had given Lynette the low down on Valley View Park. It was a gathering place for up scale nannies and their young charges. It was Lynette's first time there and she was determined not to go home alone. (The park is full of children and Lynette comes with Penny to the park…but the first nanny is chewing gum like sluts do and reading some girly magazine) Of course Lynette had high standards so making a connection (one nanny picks the food from the ground and eats it) wasn't easy. Still she was desperate to find that special someone (one old nanny fell asleep on the bench) and that is exactly who she found (she notices young woman and she gives snacks to boy and girl and gives them a kiss and tells them that if they need anything she will be right here watching them). From the moment she saw her (Lynette sits next to her on the bench) Lynette knew she had to have her."

Lynette tells her that she couldn't help her but notice how wonderful she is with those children and they meet each other. Claire is the name of the girl and Lynette asks her if she comes here often.



Rex is playing golf and Bree approaches him in that mini car. She shows him the container Andrew urinated into and tells him that it is Andrew's urine. Bree tells him that she thinks that Andrew has been smoking marijuana and she wants Rex to take it to the lab and get it tested right away. When Rex asks why she wants to take him off the swim team and she needs a proof. Rex tells her that she is not getting him off the swim team. Bree wants it so badly and Rex tells her that he will go to the coach and tell him to ignore her and they will not screw Andrew's future just because he sparked a doobie…they've all done it. Bree tells him that she didn't smoke ever and tells him that she thought that he moved back home so they can teach Andrew a lesson and she doesn't know why they are fighting. Rex tells her that he disagrees and they are still getting divorced and he won't let her push him around anymore. Bree tells him that she never pushed him around and they made their decisions together. Rex tells her that she made decisions and then told him that he agrees. He had enough of 18 years smiling and laughing and lying and he thanks god that she is out of his life. She opens the container and throws urine all over him. He tells her that he is crazy and she tells him that he did the same thing to every memory they had together. She goes away and he screams at her and tells her that if he had a mother like her he'd smoke pot too.



Lynette is talking with Claire and they are ending a story and Lynette is shocked that her boss made her return her underwear. Claire tells her that it is true after she had already worn them once and Lynette asks her if she could have said no and Claire tells her that she can't say no to Alexis if you want to keep your job. Lynette tells her that that is awful and Claire tells her that she loves the kids. Lynette tells her that she has four loveable kids and if she had nanny like her she would treat her like gold. Claire tells her that Alexis is approaching (we see one very nervous lady talking on the cell) and tells Lynette that she should go. Lynette wants her so badly and Claire gives her the address card and tells her that she will be there by noon. They go each other way.



John approaches Susan. She is drawing something in front of the house. He tells her that he knows she knows and he tells her that what he and Gabrielle have is deep it is not just sex and they have future. Susan tells him that there is no future for them because she won't divorce Carlos and run away with him because he has money a lot of it. John tells her that he has big plans for his life and he won't be doing lawns forever. Susan tells him to stop talking and asks him how old he is. He tells her that he is almost eighteen and she tells him that he can't have a realistic view on the life. She tells him that he would be so much happier with the girl of his own age and he tells her that he loves Gabrielle. She feels so sad for him and touches his face. Helen followed John and she is looking at them from the car. She now thinks that Susan is the one sleeping with her son.



The fashion show is on and the first lady is Arlene Nord and her husband brought all the folding chairs tonight and they thank him. The speaker for tonight is Tom and he is very charming. Next up is Betty Nolan (Gabrielle helps her to look better in the dress minute before she goes on the runway).

Gabrielle is back stage and she is helping Bree while Lynette is also there waiting for her name. Bree asks her why Carlos is not leading the show and Gabrielle tells them that he had some emergency at work. Lynette tells her to look on the bright side as Tom is having a time of his life. Gabrielle tells Bree that she is next followed by Lynette and then Edie and calls for her. Edie comes in with the dress she taken but she cut it completely making it extremely short and almost topless. When Gabrielle asks her what she did to the dress Edie tells her that she made it audience friendly and asks them if they can see that she is not wearing underwear and they all tell her that they can and she just smiles and tells them that it is a good thing. Susan enters the room in her silk white dress and she looks beautiful. Lynette tells her that she should never take the dress off for her entire life and Bree tells her that she looks amazing and asks Edie for opinion and she tells them that it is a bit much. Bree tells Gabrielle to change the line up and Susan has to go last because nothing will top this. Susan tells them that Helen Rowland is going last and Lynette tells them that she never showed up and Gabrielle tells them that it is a great idea and tells them to go and prepare. Susan and Gabrielle are now alone and Gabrielle tells her that she really looks fantastic but Susan just gives her the look and goes off to prepare.

Tom announces Bree in pink dress (and as she walks it shifts to Lynette) who is also wearing beautiful dress. And next up is Edie…and Tom gasps when he sees how hot she is…Britt and audience applauses and Edie walks victoriously down the runway.

Helen is backstage and returns the dress and tells someone to tell Gabrielle that she is sorry that she backed out of the show because she is not in a festive mood right now. Susan sees her and approaches her and tells her about the changes in line up and asks Helen if that is OK. Helen tells her that she has a special place in hell and Susan tells her that it wasn't her idea. Helen slaps her and tells her that she is an adult and tells her to take some responsibility. (Edie is slowly finishing her runway tour) They start showing each other and Susan's hair is already ruined and Susan tells her that it is for charity and Helen takes her dress and rips it off and tells her to keep her hands off her son. Edie finished the walk and Tom announces Susan and some organizer pushes her on a runway. She is a total mess and everyone is in shock as her dress is ruined and hair and shoes. Lynette tells Tom to say something. Susan walks down the runway with little dignity she has left and runs away from it as fast as she can. Edie tells them that she never looked better and gives her the applause.

Susan is backstage and she is changing. Gabrielle approaches her and tells her that she feels awful about what happened and she wants Susan to talk to her. Susan tells her that she needs to go to Helen and tells her the truth before everyone in the neighborhood start thinking that she is the one sleeping with a child. Gabrielle tells her that she can't do that because Carlos will find out and he will divorce her. Susan tells her that it is no big deal because she obviously doesn't love him. Gabrielle tells him that it is complicated and tells her that there is got to be another way to fix this. Susan tells her that she is so weak and Gabrielle tells her not to be like this but Susan just walks away furious.



Lynette came to the address but Claire comes out of the house and tells her that Alexis is still here and she is totally pissed off. Lynette asks her how she can stay with her after the way she treats her because she would never treat her like this. Alexis is screaming for Claire from the house. Alexis wants to know where the aspirin is. Lynette tells her that she will give her 20% bump on what she is paying her plus overtime. Claire tells her that she doesn't take orders from her friends, she is not a telephone answering machine and she doesn't do laundry. Lynette asks her if she do the dishes and Claire tells her only the kids. Lynette gives her the hand and they shake and Lynette asks her how fast she can pack. Claire goes inside the house and Lynette goes back to her car totally happy.



Julie gives all her saving to Zach and he doesn't want to tell her where he wants to go. She asks him if he is afraid of Paul and Zach tells him that he is the problem because his life is really messed up. Julie wants to know but Zach tells her that she is better left in the dark. Julie opens the drawer and gives him the "Dana" blanket and tells him that she already knows a little bit.



Danielle is back from the school and Bree approaches her and asks her where Andrew keeps his marijuana.

Bree is at the swimming pool and she goes to the boy's locker room. She opens Andrew's and there is marijuana in his sock.

"Bree had resorted to extreme measures to save her son's soul. As she rummaged through Andrew's private possession it occurred to her that sometimes (she takes the marijuana but then returns it to the sock) a little betrayal is good for the soul."



Zach tells Julie that he was like four or something and Mary Alice and Paul were fighting and he heard them yelling his name and hers…Dana…and he went down to the room and he saw them cleaning it up…cleaning blood…and he thinks it was Dana's. He couldn't remember at first but after Mary Alice killed herself he started having these dreams and he doesn't even remember Dana but he remembers blood, a lot of blood and Mary Alice picking him up and putting him on the bed whispering that it is not his fault. He wasn't ever allowed to say her name again because they would get upset every time he'd say her name. Julie doesn't understand and Zach tells her that he killed his baby sister. Julie gives him a hug and then they kiss.



Gabrielle goes to Helen and Helen apologizes immediately because she didn't intend to cause a scene. Gabrielle tells her that people didn't notice. Helen tells her that she had her reasons with Susan. Gabrielle tells her that it wasn't Susan and that she was the one that has been sleeping with her son. Helen wants to know for how long and Gabrielle tells her for almost a year but it is over now. Helen tells her then that when it started he was like 16 and Gabrielle gives her a confusing nod. Helen picks up a mail and Gabrielle tells her that it is over now and Helen tells her that it is not even close to being over and goes away.



Some boy approaches Andrew and tells him that coach wants to see him. Andrew goes to his locker room and there is police and they just show him marijuana.

Bree is called and they tell her about marijuana in his locker. Bree tells them that she will be there in a moment. She hangs up and just smiles while making her flowers look more beautiful.



"Elsewhere another darker secret was the object of an investigation."

Mr. Linder, he is making wooden stuff and he was just polishing some box he has been making and police goes in and tells him to stop for a moment. Detective Beckerman and detective Burnett pay him a visit and they want to ask him a few questions.



Susan is going home and she sees Paul talking with Julie. Susan approaches them and asks them what is wrong. Paul tells her that Zach escaped from Silvercrest and they found letters from Julie in his room. Susan tells him that they were writing to each other. Paul tells her that he needs to see those letters and Julie tells Susan that they are private. Susan asks Julie if Zach mentioned anything about escaping in those letters and Julie tells them that he didn't. Susan tells Paul that he has his answer and if they hear anything she will let him now and tells him that Julie doesn't lie.



The detectives show pictures of a toy box that Paul dumped into the river and Linder tells them that it was a very popular design and about ten years ago he sold several hundreds of them. The detective asks him if he has any documentation and Linder tells him that he has a list of his costumers somewhere. The detective tells him that they will need it. Linder points out that the chest looks like it has been through hell and detective explains that they pulled it out of Rockwater Lake and Linder asks them if there was anything in the chest and detectives tell him that it had a body in there, an adult female. Linder points out that the box is too small and one detective tells him that it was chopped up. We see all the evidence photos and some show body remains…only bones left.



Rex is screaming at Andrew and asks him what he was thinking. Andrew tells him that he was set up as he got the anonymous phone call. Rex tells him that the pot was there and Andrew tells him that he was holding it for a friend. Rex tells him that he doesn't know what is more humiliating the fact that his son had pot in his locker or the fact that he can't come up with a decent lie to fool them. Bree and Andrew exchange looks.



Carlos is doing his work on computer and he is pissed off. Gabrielle is reading her magazine.

"Gabrielle believed there was an excellent chance Helen Rowland would inform Carlos of his wife's extramarital activities. Gabrielle knew she had to come clean (she stand up and goes to Carlos, she calls him and he just says yeah) but coming clean (she says I…) was not one of Gabrielle specialties. (and tells him that she is going to bed).

She starts going but she sees police car parking in front of her house and officer approaching. She goes to Carlos and tells him that she is so sorry and no matter what happens she still loves him very much. FBI is on the door. Carlos opens the door. Police enters the house and they arrest Carlos. Gabrielle is shocked and Carlos tells her to call his lawyer. Detective just gives her that paper while the other detectives start taking evidence. Gabrielle follows Carlos to his car and asks him what the problem is and he tells her that Tanaka sat him up. They take him away in the car and Gabrielle remains in shock.



"People are complicated creatures. On the one hand able to perform great acts of charity (people are cleaning up the runway and the surrounding area) on the other capable of the most underhanded forms of betrayal (Carlos is alone in his prison cell). It's a constant battle that rages within all of us (Bree goes to her bedroom and looks at Andrew who just finished smoking and he just closes his bedroom door) between the better angels of our nature and the temptation of our inner demons. And sometimes (Julie is sleeping while Zach is sleeping on the floor) the only way to ward off the darkness (Susan approaches Gabrielle who is sitting in front of the house) is to shine the light of compassion."

Gabrielle tells Susan that they took him away in handcuffs and she starts crying while Susan hugs her.
