Mrs. Huber was attacked in the previous episode, before Gabrielle decided to hold the fashion show, and she died in the meantime. So why would she have been on the list and agreed to have worn the dress?!
Response: Because they didn't know she was dead. They thought she was visiting her sister and would come back.
In the scene where Bree and Lynette are talking about nannies, Lynette is in the backseat strapping her daughter into the carseat. In the shot facing Bree, Lynette takes a baby toy laying on top of the backseat and hands it to her daughter. In the next shot facing Lynette, the baby toy is back on top of the seat where again Lynette hands the toy to her baby.
Why did Edie say to the girls that she was surprised Mrs. Huber wasn't there participating in the fashion show? Didn't the last time Edie saw Mrs. Huber (last episode) that she was going to go away for a while to see her sister?
When Bree gets out of the golf cart to see Rex on the field, she is carrying the pot of urine in her left hand. In the next shot, of her upper torso and face, her left hand is shown cluthing the strap of her handbag with the urine in her right hand.
In one of the shots when Bree and Rex are talking from behind Bree, you hear Bree talking even though you don't see any movement in the side of her face.
Rex: (to Bree about Andrew) You know what? If you were my mom, I'd smoke pot too!
Mary Alice: (opening voiceover) Gabrielle was waiting for her next great idea. Her first great idea came when she was fifteen, after her stepfather paid her a late night visit. She bought a bus ticket to New York the very next day. Her next occurred five years later when she decided to seduce a famous fashion photographer. One week later, she began her career as a runway model. Which soon led her to her next great idea. Her decision to marry Carlos Solis. Before she knew it, she had jumped off the runway and moved to the suburbs. Her most recent great idea was born out of her boredom with her new life. That's how she came to start an affair with her teenage gardener, which was cut short by the tragic accident, so once again, Gabrielle was in need of a great idea.
Bree: It's just not right.
Bree: A woman is in a coma, because of Andrew. And there he is, happy as a clam!
Rex: Well, we grounded him, we took away the TV in his room. How many more ways do you want to punish him?
Mary Alice: News of the fashion show spread quickly on Wisteria Lane. Though the event was for charity, Gabrielle soon discovered that when it came to the latest fashions, women are seldom charitable. No one knew this better than Edie Britt. She understood that treachery never goes out of style.
Bree: Well I know that good help is hard to find but stealing a family's nanny is so unseemly!
Lynette: I'm not twisting anyone's arm. If I make a better offer, than why shouldn't a qualified person weave the benefits. So come on. Where can I score some high-grade nanny?
Edie: I can't believe Martha agreed to wear this (black dress), she always said she'd never be caught dead in black.
Mary-Alice: Sadly for Mrs. Huber, this was no longer the case.
(fades into Mrs. Huber in a body bag)
(at the hospital after Juanita got ran over)
Nurse: Mrs. Solis, I know you're worried but it's going to take time.
Gabrielle: Hm? What is?
Nurse: You look sad. I assumed you were thinking about your mother-in-law.
Mary Alice: People are complicated creatures. On the one hand able to perform great acts of charity (shot of Gabrielle's fashion show.) On the other, capable of the most underhanded forms of betrayal (shot of Carlos in jail.) It's a constant battle that rages within all of us, between the better angels of our nature, and the temptation of our inner demons (shot of Bree and Andrew.) And sometimes, the only way to ward off the darkness (shot of Julie taking care of Zach) is to shine the light of compassion (shot of Susan comforting Gabrielle.)
Susan: Helen, Helen, you're here! Did they tell you about the change in lineup? I'm going to go last if that's okay.
Helen: (thinking Susan slept with John) There's a special place in hell for people like you.
Susan: I'm sorry, it wasn't my decision.
Gabrielle: Edie, what did you do to that dress?
Edie: Well, I made it audience friendly. Can you tell I'm not wearing any underwear?
Andrew: What's that?
Bree: It's the container you'll be urinating into.
Bree: Well, that's because you just don't love him as much as I do!
Rex: Well, isn't that nice.
Bree: It's just a fact. I'm his mother. He lived inside of me.
Rex: He hung out in your womb for a few months back in the 80s. Since then, I have grown to love him just as much as you!
Julie: I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.
Zach: I killed my baby sister.
Bree: Hi Danielle. How was school?
Danielle: It was ok.
Bree: Good. Where does Andrew keep his marijuana?
Edie: Crap! Crap! Crap! I'm telling you, all of the good dresses are taken. Well, what the hell am I supposed to wear?
Lynette: Well, Mrs. Huber never showed up. Why don't you wear this one?
Edie: This is an old lady dress. You won't even be able to see my body.
Lynette: That is so like you, Edie. You're always thinking of others.
Gabrielle: I'm the one who was sleeping your son. I'm so sorry.
Helen: So when it started, he was sixteen?
Gabrielle: But Helen you have to believe me, it's over now.
Helen: Oh no, it's not even close to being over.
Gabrielle: Susan, hi. Do you want to help with the seating cards?
Susan: Sure. Do you want to tell me why you had your foot in John Rowland's crotch yesterday?
Gabrielle: Oh, that. He was helping me adjust the seam in my stocking, and from your angle, it must have looked a little weird.
Susan: You're sleeping with him, aren't you?
