Later, Dave finds Mrs. McCluskey searching for Toby, who's been missing. She asks for his help finding him, and he asks her if she's planning on apologizing to Edie. Karen accepts, in order for him to help her, and then becomes suspicious. Later, she apologizes to Edie, and wants her to let Dave know about this. Edie accepts the apology. When she arrives home, Mrs. McCluskey finds Toby the cat in the living room, and the windows is open, just like the time he vanished. Mrs. McCluskey never leaves the window open.

The next day, Karen brings Katherine some flowers, because she needs her help finding out everything she can about Dave.
