    There are three episodes of season three aired. But they are not listed at tv.com. Next episode wed sept 24.

    There were two new investigations tonight (10/28/09). One in Romania, searching for werewolves. And, one in the Atacama Desert of Chile, South America, looking for a possible descendant of the deinonychus (relative of the better-known velociraptor). The werewolf hunt could have been taped immediately after the "Haunted Forest of Transylvania" episode. While the Chilean dino-hunt could have been done back-to-back, with the other three South American investigations (one in Brazil; two in Peru).

    I have been doing research on "Baba Yagga" and the"Jersey Devil"..... It would be nice to know if this is fact or fiction!!

    Well, they finally aired the Season 4 opener. And, it was a little disappointing, I must say. What did Vanessa lock eyes with at the base camp? No big mystery, folks! Anyone who's watched any African episode of "Animal Planet" will recognize a leopard growl when they hear one! As for the "Nandi Bear" possibly being a spotted hyena? Duh! I already knew that from reading crypto-zoology books written by Ivan Sanderson and Bernard Huevelmans!


    These same authors have postulated other suspects for the true identity of the "Nandi Bear." A giant ratel (aka "honey badger"); an East African subspecies of mandrill (those short-tailed baboons with the blue faces); and, with regard to the brain-eating, a homicidal cult of African tribesmen (like the "leopard men" of 19th-century Sierra Leone).
