Episode Summary

EDIT

Team Truth travels to a remote village in Fiji to investigate stories of ghosts of cannibalized victims haunting their killer's ancestors. Later, Josh leads his team tothe islands of the Philippines, where the legend of the ape-like, 7-foot tall Kapre monster terrifies locals. Said to be a hairy, foul-smelling, tree-dweller that attacks anyone (or anything) that comes close to it's refuge, stories of the Kapre have been passed down for generations amongst the Aeta, the oldest inhabitants of the Philippines.

      • Josh: (shopping) What is this?
        Saleswoman: Cannibal fork.
        Josh: A cannibal fork?!
        Saleswoman: Yeah.
Josh: And what would somebody eat with this?
        Saleswoman: Brain. A man's brain.
Josh: Ma'am, I don't eat enough brains that I need this in my life.

      • Josh: All right, since this is still an active village, we may need to bring some gifts.
Ryder: Perfect, like a bouquet of flowers, maybe some Jenga, like a game, would be nice.
Josh: A traditional offering is kava root and tobacco, we'll try to find both in the local market.
Ryder: Sure, that would be... that's fine, too.

      • Josh: Okay everyone, we're going to Fiji.
        Crew: Yay!
Josh: We're going to a cannibal village.
        Crew: Boo!
        Josh: Can't win them all.
