    1) How are the episodes on TV.com divided into the various seasons?
Technically, Detective Conan does not have seasons, but for the purpose of this website we must pretend it does. In order to remedy the need for seasons, I have listed the episodes based on the year the episode aired. (i.e. All 1996 episodes make up one season, all 1997 episodes make up one season, etc.)

    2) Has Conan ever gotten his body back? If so, when?
Yes, Conan has returned to being Shin'ichi quite a few times in both the anime and manga. Most notably the episodes introducing Heiji, "The Diplomat Murder Case" (episodes 48-49), and the "Desperate Revival" arc (episodes 188-193).

    3) Are there episodes that take place in the past *before* Shin'ichi became Conan?
    Yes, notable examples are:

**"The Case of the Flying Locked Room" (episode 162)
**"The New York (Golden Apple) arc (episodes 286-288 )
**"Young Kudou Shin'ichi's Adventure" (episodes 472-473)
**and the first live-action drama "Kudou Shin'ichi he no Chousenjou - Sayonara Made no Prologue".
Apart from these episodes, there are quite a few flashbacks throughout the series, so it's impossible to list them all.

    4) How many movies are there?
    Currently there are fourteen movies.

01 - The Time Bombed Skyscraper
    02 - The Fourteenth Target
03 - The Last Wizard of the Century
04 - Captured in Her Eyes
    05 - Countdown to Heaven
06 - The Phantom of Baker Street
07 - Crossroad in the Ancient Capital
08 - Magician of the Silver Sky
09 - Strategy Above the Depths
10 - The Private Eyes' Requiem
11 - Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure
12 - Full Score of Fear
    13 - The Raven Chaser
14 - The Lost Ship in the Sky

    5) What episodes does Kaitou Kid appear?
    **Episodes 76, 132-134, 219, 356, 394-396, 469-470, 537-538, 586-587
    **Movies 3, 8, 10, and 14
    **OVAs 1, 4, 6, and 10
**and both 3-D Detective Conan IMAX films, "Conan vs Kid: Shark & Jewel", and "Conan vs Kid: Sniper of Black".

It is also notable to mention that a young Kaito Kuroba and Toichi Kuroba (the original Kaitou Kid) appear in episodes 472-473. Episode 479 also features an appearance from Hakuba Saguru, the detective who is chasing after Kaitou Kid, but Kid himself does not appear.

Also, outside of Conan, an animated version of the first chapter of Magic Kaito has been released under the title "Magic Kaito: Kid the Phantom Thief" (and also "The Secret of the Birth of Kaitou Kid"; both are the same special).

    6) What song plays during (insert episode)?
    Most common answers:

**"Tokei Jikake no Matenrou" (found on first movie soundtrack; this is a background music track)
**"Ai wa Itsumo" (found on third movie soundtrack; there is a version with vocals and a version without)
**"Kimi ga Ireba" (found on third, fourth, and seventh movie soundtracks; this is a vocal track that varies depending on which soundtrack it is from).

    7) What are the OVA episodes and how many are there?
There are currently ten OVA episodes that have been released with special editions of Shounen Sunday. More are expected to be made.

01 - Conan vs Kid vs YAIBA
    02 - Sixteen Suspects!?
03 - Conan and Heiji and the Vanished Boy
04 - Conan and Kid and Crystal Mother
05 - The Target is Kogoro! The Detective Boys' Secret Investigation!
06 - Chase the Vanished Diamond! Conan & Heiji vs Kid!
07 - A Written Challenge from Agasa! Agasa vs Conan & the Detective Boys
08 - High School Girl Detective Suzuki Sonoko's Case Files
09 - The Stranger from Ten Years Later
10 - Kid in Trap Island

8 ) How many years has the anime been airing on Japanese TV?
Since 1996, so approximately fourteen years.

    9) Where can I download (insert episode/movie/OVA)?
No download links are permitted on this site. They will be deleted if I find them.

Actually there are seven OVAs. I don't remember what the seventh one is called, but I've seen it and it's pretty good.

I have two questions regarding your list. First off, where is episode 406? Second of all, why are the order in which they are listed (i.e. season 13 and 14) kind of reversed?

    Thanks so much.

Episode 406 is listed apparently under Season 5875. O_o;; I blame that on computer error, but I've been in the long process of reorganizing episodes because technically there are no real "seasons" for Conan, hence the odd season numbering in general.

EDIT: I have fixed the season numbering of the episodes to match the way the episodes are listed on the Japanese DVD releases.

(*blink* If you have up to episode 318 you've been buying the Hong Kong Black Market releases which I HIGHLY recommend you stop doing immediately.)

Anyway, FUNimation has released several of the early episodes on Region 1 DVDs which may be purchased from several online stores on the Internet (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Anime Castle, Suncoast, etc.) or you can also look for them in any major DVD retailer's store. I highly recommend Suncoast or Best Buy since they seem to have the most selection of anime DVDs.

I will not say where to download episodes; I'm technically not allowed to on this website. As far as I know, there are no sites online with Conan episodes available for download + purchase, not even iTunes. Sorry. :/

To clarify, rightstuf has the manga up to about volume 26. Not bad at all to have come so far, actually. I'm sure the English will catch up at some point. Japan's currently at volume 60.

Does anyone know the song thats playing in the background of Episode 4 when Kogoro's swooning over Yoko Okino? It plays again when Ran and Conan are walking down the street.

The song in question is in episode 3, not 4. ^^; According to the ending credits, the song is called "Utakata no yume". This is not the same "Utakata no yume" by bands Gackt or Due Le Quartz however. Out of curiosity I checked Japanese Conan sites and found out the song is sung by someone named Tomoko Shinohara. I have not been able to find out any other information regarding this singer. The song has been released in Japan on CD, but I have yet to be able to figure out what the CD is, although its number is IJRM-1002. Sorry I wasn't able to gather more information about it for you. :/
