Longford, Mahajan, Stone and Sanchez are involved in the investigation of a retired auto industry executive who was found dead in his spacious Boston-Edison home. Multiple motives arise including robbery and jealousy over a possible affair between the widow and an old friend from the Detroit Yacht Club. Fitch, Washington and Lt. • Really satisfying episode.

    9.5
I love the dominoe effect story line. In life we seldom get to see the consequences of our actions and how they play out in other people's lives. Seeing how the decision of one person to hurt someone who was hurting her ends up hurting many people is probably an accurate depicition of what some of our decisions end up doing. Not to the degree of these stories, but the basic truth is there, that what we do sends out ripples that travel a long way. I'm not one of those who rate and review on technical accuracy so I can't tell you whether the guns are right or the scenery is right, only that the heart is right with this episode and this show. I want so much for this show to survive the cut. I look forward to each new episode and hope others will find the show and love it like I do.moreless
  • Very enjoyable episode!

This was yet another great one from Detrout 187, and I very much enjoyed it! The two cases were both definitely interesting, and in the "Drive-By" case, it was very sad to see a child being killed, whether it be intentionally or unintentionally.

The cases were very good, and I think that it was very interesting how the cases were linked. However, I must comment that this is the second time in which the cases in one episode have been linked to one another, after the season premiere. I hope they don't do this on a regular basis, as it would be too repetitive, but it worked for today!

All up, I definitely really enjoyed this one! A lot of potential for this show, still don't understand why it got the axe...moreless
