Loved this episode of the show but am so sad that we have lost the terrific potential of Alejandro and Carmen's marriage. This is not unlike Marc Cherry when he wrote the season arcs for Desperate Housewives. There were a lot of amazing ideas cut short with no warning that made you feel you had wasted your time investing in the characters story and disappointed you didn't get to see more. This is how I feel about where Carmen is now. He realized having her marry Alejandro would ultimately move her character forward to quickly so he killed off a very likable character.

As for the mystery it feels transparent. With the exception of Opal's role in everything I think I know what Nicholas did. I am very happy however to see Marisol and Evelyn having gossip time. So funny.

Best of the night was Susan Lucci with her wonderfully written dialogue and delivery. Her scene where she comforts Zoila was also incredibly moving and made me realize a friendship that strong and genuine never existed in Housewives which is insane considering the main four women were meant to be best friends. But that scene was incredible and so real.

Well done Devious production team! Bring on Episode 4!moreless

Another Fantastic Episode, but when it comes to Nicholas and Marisol, where does Opal fit to all of this with the torn letter. If Opal had an affair with Nicholas and the result was Ethan, would that be the cause of Dahlia's murder that night, because she found out. At the ending Ty (the one who was part of the gang, but didn't pull the trigger) killed himself right outside Alejandro's house. Susan Lucci makes me lmao.moreless
