  • Slow moving

considering we're so close to the last ever episode, this was rather slow moving and boring.
  • Vogel

    Oh my oh strikes again.
  • Appalling

I want to keep watching, I really want to. I've been a fan from day one, bought and read all the books, watched all the seasons, previously I was a fan of Hall's in Six Feet Under, I owe it to this show to watch the finale, but really, this is painful.

The evil forgotten son?? Really now?

And a flat tire?? I mean I know we don't even expect anything plausible anymore at this point, but come on!

Do you remember when Dexter had to stalk his preys (or they him) for days to figure out where they even lived, or worked? And now the three new characters that materialize from thin air in every second episode just have everybody's address, I guess maybe they watch the show?

Remember when Dexter had to tamper with evidence because America was not some third world country deprived of technology, and Dexter couldn't just orally tell Masuka "uh nope, it's Cassie's own blood under her fingernails" because his word on it wasn't enough?

Do you remember when Dexter struggled to get any sleep and show up at work in time because killing people, sawing them into pieces, bleach-cleaning a whole room, driving to the Marina, going out at sea, disposing of the bags, etc. etc. actually takes more than twenty minutes?

But nothing of that really matters, because Hannah is so pwetty and Dexter wuvs her and Harrison likes to play with her, and they'll all live happily ever after in Neverland and yay!moreless
  • Make Your Own Kind of Music

The show is still worth watching, not just to see how it ends, if this was a freshman series I would keep watching it, but the characters just seem so tired at this point. Some of the decisions they are making, and the inconsistency with everything Vogel, as we saw here in this episode, is head-scratching to say the lead.

A little low on action, but not as bad as others are saying.moreless
  • With all my love to GOOD OLD Dexter - now I think Debra made the wrong choice...

I am really REALLY sorry but I never thought I'd ever wish Debra had shot Dexter instead of Maria and put him out of this misery. It's like they are torturing their loyal fans knowing they can' stop watching after all these years without "the closure". If I knew it would come to this I'd stopped watching two seasons earlier when the first signs of going down the hill were showing. . By the way, who really cares for Quinn and Jaime? Here and thee again - it would be totally OK, but they are SO overused this season. Even if this sublot is important for the finale - way too much...moreless
