How are they going to explain the dead criminal and the dead guerta shot by a police gun which belongs to Deb? Dexters first plan was vaporized, but I can´t see how they cover up this mess they left.

You people have some imagination. Doakes alive, laughable.. Such a let down of an episode. Seems like this episode/season has been geared more towards women...

Waiting to see the final episode of this season, but as per the trend... who ever knows about the Dark "What ever" has to Die. Thats the thumb rule the series has been following. So I guess Laguerta has to die

if doakes is alive...well it seems too easy, not very clever...and why would dexter think it is safe for him to have his love in jail and able to talk about him...and it is just not like him...he would have killed her in any other year!

Just read on IMDB that someone went to a screening of the Finale in Brentwood CA, and Doakes is Alive.

I think I know what Dexter's plan is going to be, He's gonna frame Louis as a Bay Harbor Butcher copy cat killer. He has the evidence. Masuka knows that he stole the ITK hand, and he made that video game and he all of a sudden disappeared.

nonono you're both wrong. laguerta was on to him so he turned it against her. Then she showed deb a video that was recorded of her filling up gas next to the church and deb had denied that she was there before she was shown the video. Laguerta was getting closer and closer to Dexter decided to kill her and frame her death on hector. He killed hector and as he was about to shoot laguerta with hector's gun deb walks in. Then laguerta wakes up and tells deb to kill dexter but deb shoots her.

Did no one watch the preview clips at the end of episode 11? Dexter gets arrested.

We saw him getting arrested...but for all we know he could have been fantasizing that...especially because Harry is bugging him to take off.

he got arrested but laguerta had no proof so he was released.. and plus everyone at miami metro thought laguerta has lost it ... no one was on her side.. she was still convinced that dexter is the killer and got closer you'll see in the episode.. unfortunately SHE DIES.. DEB KILLED HER

Dexter is Really stupid .. How come he couldnt think that hanna will set him up and tell laguerta about the killings .. i really cant imagine how the next episode will go , either dexter will break the code and kill laguerta , or get caught which i doubt coz they said that there will be a season 8 coming next year :

Well I think the episode 12 clip (end of 11) cleared things up, Doakes is coming back - either that or it was a flashback.

Doakes was in direct contact with that blast in the cabin, he's dead. Two of those drug dealers your thinking of are gone. Don't you remember Dexter telling Doakes " I think we just made some alligators very happy" well that's where they went.

I was also thinking the big surprise is that Doakes is alive. the only way that can happen is the body that they found in the lake was not Doakes, remember toward the end of the season Doakes shot and killed that ex-special ops guy who killed his wife? You never heard about that again. Maybe Doakes hid that body, then used it to cover his escape at the blown up log cabin. Doakes was a great character, He got killed off too soon, this is just wishful thinking, but who knows.

scalan15...the scenario isn't possible. The reason why is because we literally watched him get blown up in season 2 episode 12 titled "The British Invasion" He tried to turn the burner off and then the cabin blew up as he mouthed his famous last word. MOTHERFUCKER! The propane tank blew up in his face. Like someone else already said...the only way Doakes can reappear is to Dexter like Harry and Brian..

Not sure if this is confirmed, but this is supposely the final description of the episode, found in wikia spoilers? Laguerta finally manages to re-open the Bay Harbor Butcher case officially with the help of Angel and an FBI agent. Meanwhile, Dexter must quickly find a way to kill Isaak before he could get to his family.

here's a description from tvrage. LaGuerta is on the verge of exposing Dexter and his killer ways, while he does his best to cover for himself and Debra, and maintain the life he's created.

When it first happened, I didn't believe Doakes was actually dead, I expected him to show up again at the end of the season 2 finale, but then nothing happened, so I thought he actually was dead. Now I don't know.... But how could he possibly be alive?

OR, has laguerta been secretly investigating doakes all along, she was pretty close to him and in the first episode, she didn't disclose the slide to anyone... very interesting... i am not sure if doakes is even dead.. dude, this season is going to be an absolute ripper
