The line that Angel says to LaGuerta in Spanish is:
"Eso es lo ms ridculo que yo he odo en mi vida, Maria."
In English, it means:
"That is the most ridiculous thing that I have heard in my life, Maria."
Debra's car is a silver BMW e46 convertible, but the wrecked car that Dexter is examining is an e36.
At the beginning of the episode, when Dexter edits the blood report on the motel couple case, we can see he used the word "consistant", a common misspelling of "consistent".
Goof: When Dexter is looking at the newspaper articles on his computer, the first article starts to repeat itself to make it look longer.
The ship that rescues Dexter is called "Milagro" which is Spanish for "miracle". Dexter was in dire need of a miracle at the time or he would have died.
At 19 minutes into the episode Dexter is looking for information on Travis Marshall on his computer. The voice-over says he lives on 1742 Vanderan St. but the driver's license clearly visible on screen lists his address as 1026 Vanderan St.
Also if you check the DOB in the driver licence is 11-24-1977 and was issued on 09-23-1990. That means that Florida's Department Of Motor Vehicles issued a driver licence to a 12 years old kid. Doesn't make sense.
The tooth fairy is the first "victim" that went through the "taped" ritual but didn't end up in garbage bags and thrown into the ocean.
This episode was originally titled "Through a Glass, Darkly".
When Dexter roughs up Barry, he hits him on his left side saying he hit him on his liver, the liver is mainly on the right side of the body, partially protected by the rib cage. On the left you get the spleen, pancreas and stomach.
Dexter uses the line "Tonight's the night" in one of his monologues. This line was also used in the pilot episode.
When Officer Cira Manzon is coming to the police station to talk to Debra, Debra asks her : "Do you think Fauzi spilled everything he knows ?". Manzon replies "He's been asking around the neighborhood...", but in the 1st second of the answer, you can clearly see that her mouth is shut.

Debra and Quinn clean the bathroom without getting any blood on their clothes or on the scrubbers they were using to clean.
Goof: When Trinity (Arthur) looks up Kyle Butler in the phone book you can see that many of the numbers on the page shown are duplicated for different names.
Goof: When Dexter takes the blood of the trucker, the blood drop is quite big. Yet in the very next shot it is much smaller.
When Dexter discovers that Trinity is in fact killing four people in a row each time, his dad says it means that 5 days before Lisa Bell was murdered a boy must have been killed in Miami. Dexter searches the missing children archive and comes up with Christopher Kavanaugh who "disappeared late Tuesday". The posting is dated Sunday 27th November 2009. The Lisa Bell murder occurred way back in episode one of season four "Living The Dream", while this episode itself played on Sunday 29th November 2009. So based on this information the current actions of Dexter in this episode would have to be happening many weeks in the viewers actual future. They also are happening on days that do not actually exist since there is 27th November 2009 was actually a Friday. The other two post dates are also wrong: November 4th was actually a Wednesday and November 5th was actually a Thursday, with these dates somehow only two days out while the later post was incorrect by three days.
Batista reveals LaGuerta's full name to be Maria Esperanza De Alma LaGuerta, while in turn she reveals his full name as Angel Juan Marcos Batista.
Goof: In the scene where LaGuerta and Batista are talking by the beach, there are multiple shots where you can see the reflection of the camera men and production crew in Batista's glasses.
Goof: When Trinity reads the first-page newspaper article on the bludgeoning, we can see that the most of the text is a repeated fragment of random news about armed robbery.
Goof: After Quinn hangs up with Deb, Christine sits next to him on the couch, picks up a plate and starts poking the pie on it while she is talking. There is an immediate scene change mid conversation to her nodding with her mouth full chewing pie that she hasn't yet eaten.
