Dexter's latest invention, which is capable of transforming anyone into animals, is misused many times by both Dexter and DeeDee as they fight for possession of it.
  • A very awesome episode!

I just want to say, this episode is classic and awesome! I want to tell you I love it! I also saw this episode on a Powerpuff Girls DVD. It's cool, and it tells that Dee Dee and Dexter are going to be late for the bus, and they change each other to animals, it's so awesome! It's state of the art! Don't know why they canceled airing for this episode, I gave it a 10.0 (Perfect) rating! It's the first episode of Dexter's Laborotory, and it was awesome! Please read my review again and rate the review! Greetings form DexterNinja!moreless
  • the very 1st episode of Dexter's Laboratory.... sure brings back memories!

I remember this episode so perfectly, but saw it so long ago! Dexter has a brand new invention that makes people transform into animals. Dee-dee, as always, wants to play with it, but Dexter is explaining to her the invention's purpose and use (and Dee-dee cares why?). So they start fighting with the remote and change into all types of animals, from rabbits, frogs, goats, and pigs, to chickens, and even a dinosaur!

Their mother never found out anything, even though they were transformed into a t-rex and a chicken in her own kitchen, with her in the room!

My favorite part was the end when Dee-dee and Dexter are finally human. Turns out that they were in the wrong bodies!moreless

    ADD TRIVIA
    • Animals DeeDee became are: a Frog, Tiger, Camel, Vulture, Beaver, Rooster, Hippo, Eagle, Crab, Monkey, and Snail.

    • Animals Dexter became are: Rabbit, Pig, Bison, Gorilla, Ostrich, Hamster, Cow, Walrus, Penguin, Snake, Whale, T-Rex, Bear, Goat, Leopard, Octopus, Turtle.

    • When Dexter (in goat form) is chasing DeeDee, he crashes through his bedroom door. However, when Mom goes upstairs to check on them, the hole in the door is gone.

    • When DeeDee first turns Dexter into a bunny, the shadow on the wall is still human Dexter.

    • Dexter's laboratory does not have a wall separating it from the rest of his room. This means that everyone probably was intended to know about it, but as the series went on the idea of it being a secret was probably added.

    • (whilst DeeDee has the device in hand, Dexter, in rabbit form, explains...) Dexter: Now, do you understand...?(device turns him into a pig) That my combining the positive and negative polarities in sucrose radium,... (DeeDee, still in frog form, laughs with the device in hand) Dexter: You're not listening to me! (grabs the device and turns DeeDee into a tiger) Now, pay attention!

    • DeeDee: Ooooh, what does this button do?

    • DeeDee: Last one down is an icky icky spider! (dances off) Dexter: (mumbles) Why not? I've been everything else today.

    • Although the official title is "Changes," the on-screen title reads "Dexter's Laboratory."

    • This episode can still be seen as the final segment after Double Trouble and Dexter's Lab: A Story (Although rarely the second segment might be Dial M For Monkey: Barbequor)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)
