Once Dee Dee takes out "Master Computer" and changes it to "Primal Fighter," Dexter then asks what she is doing. Well, when it shows Dee Dee again, "Master Computer" is in the game slot again instead of "Primal Fighter."
Dexter never explained the enitire reason why he wanted Dee Dee to play the Master Computer game and win, until the end.
At the end, when Dee Dee is beating up Dexter on the Primal Fighter game, watch Dee Dee's score. It starts around the 1700's and never goes up when she's hitting him. Also, they get to Dexter's Lab real quick when they play the Master Computer video game for the first time!
When Dexter complains about how bad "Master Computer" is, he says it doesn't have multiplayer. But one second later they're playing a multiplayer game!
Dexter: Don't let the door hit you on the way out. (door slams) Dee-Dee: (off camera) Ouch!
Dexter: Okay. Say it. DeeDee: Say what? Dexter: You know very well what. Now get on with it! DeeDee: Oooh... I can't possibly know what are you talking about, Dexter. But... it has something to do with the fact that... Dexter: Here we go. DeeDee: I WON! I won! I won! I won! I won... again!
Dexter: I need you to go into my laboratory. DeeDee: But I thought I wasn't allowed in your laboratory. Dexter: Now you are. DeeDee: Forever? Dexter: Not forever! DeeDee: Well... I don't kn... Dexter: Okay, okay! Forever!
(playing video game with Dee Dee) Dexter: Go, baby, go!!
DeeDee: Man, Dexter.. for a boy genius.. you sure do stink!
Master Computer: (to Dexter) You thought I was a mere toy. Well, now, it's time I toy with you!
DeeDee: I won! I won! I won! Again!
DeeDee: And now for you, Master Computer!
Dexter: Oh, no! I'm stuck in a grid spider's web site!
The computer mastermind sounds exactly like Doctor Claw from Inspector Gadget.
This episode heavily spoofs the 1982 Disney movie Tron, about a computer programmer who gets sucked into a computer and must destroy the "Master Control Program."
Not only does this episode spoof Tron, but it references to the games Tetris and Pac-Man. Dee Dee and Dexter play "Primal Fighter," which is a parody of Primal Rage, throughout the episode.
There is also a reference to Millipede during the trapped-in-game segment.
When the Roy-bot delivers Dexter's message to Dee Dee, Dexter said, "Help me, Dee Dee. You're my only hope." This is of course spoofing Star Wars when Princess Leia asked for help to Obi-Wan Kenobi by using R2-D2, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope."
