(last person who did a goof/nitpick) There are several unknown questions there are no answers to...such as the world blowing up in Let's save the world, you jerk! This is only one of several
I know this is a cartoon but, How did Dexter get into his lab in future episodes?
When Dexter thought that Dee Dee went through the huge perfume dispenser, Dee transfered back outside then got in fast and entered the scene walking without moving her legs!
Dexter:(talking crazy to watermelon)Yes!..heh heh, this is it! aha ha ha ha....
Dee Dee:Woah there silly rabbit!
Dexter: Uh. Oh, my dear. In my overwhelming zeal to banish my sister from the lab, I have indeed locked myself out. Too blinded was I not to foresee the most piteous of fates. I have thus performed the ultimate tragic irony. Surely I am the fool of fools on the par of no other. I am no better than that stupid coyote or that crazy duck. Look at me! Look at me! I am locked in a continuum of cartoon fools! I am doomed to a life of comic mishap adventures and social indignations. And now, here I stand before you, beaten, defeated, and alone.
Running Gag: Dexter saying "hi" to Dee Dee without realizing she's already inside the lab.
Puppet versions of the Puppet Pals appear at the end of this episode.
The title card to this episode is designed to look exactly like the title cards to the earliest Hanna-Barbera TV shorts, circa 1958-61.
Also when he is writing there's no scribbles. Then in the next one, there is a scribble. Then in the next scene, there is nothing there.
It's kind of hard to tell, but since he is making faces, timing himself with a stopwatch, and filling out what looks like a storyboard card, one could guess he's planning some kind of cartoon.
I usually don't post this kind of stuff, but can anyone please tell me what Dexter is doing in the first scene? (Yet again, this is a very odd episode, if you've seen you know what I'm talking about.)
Dee Dee: Whoa, silly rabbit... This is a reference to the slogan of Trix cereal and Trix yogurt, "Silly rabbit, trix are for kids!" which is always spoken to the rabbit who tries to steal the Trix.
At the end of this episode, Dexter mentions "that stupid coyote and that crazy duck," a reference to Looney Tunes characters Wile E. Coyote and Daffy Duck.
