Goof: During the scene where Mark and company find Stacy's note written on the newspaper, Amanda incorrectly names Casper as Wyoming's state capital.
Goof:For some reason in this episode Amanda is still pregnant. Interesting considering she had her baby in '35 millimetre murder' - 6 episodes earlier. This suggests the episodes are in the wrong order, but they are always shown in this order and are also in this order on the DVD release.
when Mark (Dick Van Dyke) almost trips on the automan that is actually kinda a flashback to the beginning of his old show The Dick Van Dyke show from the 60's, during that show they had 2 intros, one when he actually trips over the automan and the other where he sidesteps around it.
When Mark enters the set live, he's still wearing the make-up paper around his collar. Someone quickly grabs it and tears it away just as he enters the camera vision. Then a close-up follows, and his collar and neck are clean, just his shirt and neck are visible. A few seconds later, after the commercials are announced, the host removes some paper from between his neck and collar. This seems like a continuity/revealing mistake.
Jesse says that in rugby you get taken down, want to let go of the ball, but then you get mauled. But if you're on the ground then it is a ruck, not a maul.
when mark and jesse go to kyle's apartment to have a talk, in the back if you look closely when he opens the door, you see a surfboard in the back. But, the surfboard is jesse's(the one with the python on it) and what would jesse's surfboard be doing in kyle's apartment.

Amanda, Mark, Jesse and George watch a taped scene from a 1995 episode of The Young and the Restless where the characters of Nick and Sharon talk about the recent shooting of her ex-boyfriend, Matt Clark. Victoria Rowell, who played Amanda, was also pulling double-duty at the time, starring on The Young and the Restless as Dru Winters.
When Mark and Blair are out on the veranda drawing pictures to discover the murderer, Blair has a pink pen in her hand one moment and the next it is black and then is changed back to pink again.

Amanda has never seen The Young & the Restless.
When Scott Baio (Jack) hits Julie Carmen (Moriah) with the stick and it breaks, the frontal view shows the broken end flying in front of her from her left. Since Baio hit her from behind on the right, the broken piece would not have flown at her from the left.
Amanda finshed at the top of her class.
There is scene in this episode where Mark is lying in his hospital bed and talking to Steve. In the beginning, Mark is wearing a napkin on his chest for the food he is supposed to be eating. There is one point where the camera is angled so that you can see both Mark and Steve, and if you look closely, the napkin seems to have disappeared. Then the camera cuts to Steve and then back to Mark and the napkin is clearly gone. Then there is another cut to Steve and then back to Mark, and the napkin reappears for the rest of the scene.
When asked if he has ever riden a horse before Mark replies that only the merry-go-round type of horses that go up and down. A likely reference to Dick van Dyke in the movie Mary Poppins.
