Dial M For Monkey is the hilarious cartoon spinoff of Dexter's Laboratory. The shorts follow Dexter's lab monkey, Monkey (Frank Welker), who is actually a superhero. In certain Dexter's Laboratory episodes, the middle segment would either be a Dial M For Monkey episode or a Justice Friends episode. These segments would often cross over into one another, creating a pretty hilarious universe of characters. During his adventures, Monkey is forced to confront many dangerous enemies. With the help of trusted special agent Honeydew, Monkey faced-off against Huntor, the self-described "ultimate cosmic hunter;" Magmanamus, a grumpy lava creature; Orgon Grindor, a musician with an evil streak; Rasslor, the intergalactic wrestling champ; Barbequor, a hungry deity looking to devour earth; and Peltra, a female foe dead set on skinning Monkey for his precious fur. Dial M For Monkey got its title in part from Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder and DC Comics' Dial H for Hero.
