Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest

After last year's stroke, Dick Clark's voice is not well. He hosted the show indoor.

Ryan revealed that about 85% of people in Times Square are from out of town.

When asked in a pre-show interview whom Ryan Seacrest will kiss when the ball drops, he said, "I have absolutely no idea. It may end up being cameraman No. 4." (During the show, Ryan Seacrest kissed Mariah Carey at midnight. However, this was not shown on camera.)

This is the first time in the show's history that there will be a live performer (Mariah Carey) at Times Squre.

This is Ryan Seacrest's first appearance and he is also the co-executive procuder of the show. He will take over the show when Dick Clark steps down.

This year will include a look back at past concert tours. You will see past performance by Duran Duran, Green Day, Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi and Keith Urban.

Dick Clark did not host this year because he was in the hospital with a stroke. However, he kept the new year tradition by watching it.
