2/27/82Captain Willard and his helper, Newell, recruit two young men for the King's Army by tricking them into receiving a shilling each as 'assistance' in a betting game. Swiftnick liberates them and Willard wants revenge.
2/20/82Captain Nathan Spiker hunts Turpin and Swiftnick into a forest where the secret folk, the 'romani', roam and rule.

1/30/82A small boy, the King's very young cousin from Germany, is the only one to escape an attack by the cruel and spiteful highway-man Barnaby Husk. He runs into the woods and stumbles upon Isaac Rag who leads him to 'the Fox'.
