Arnold suspects that Kimberly has an eating disorder when his slender sister is secretly gorging herself, but not gaining any weight. Arnold seeks Drummond's help in confronting Kimberly with her problem and the family comes together to help her fight the eating disorder, bulimia.moreless
  • Terrific episode that showed Kimberly (Dana Plato) at her best.

    "Perfect"
Struggling with bulimia, Kimberly Drummond (now only a part time cast member during this final (8th) season), struggles to keep her problem hidden from the rest of the family. The nagging question is, will she succeed? Diff'rent Strokes know it alls likely know the ultimate answer. Some people complain abut how this episode is way too predictable, but I personally find it somewhat spooky, given Dana Plato's sad future, and how this episode is nearly psychic in that regard. That aside, I still think Dana gave a terrific performance as Kimberly, even though she was likely hiding more than was shown in front of the camera.moreless
