(Arnold returns home from the party to find Philip and Maggie glaring angrily at him.) Philip: Where have you been? Sam woke up and got so worried that he called us, and we had to come home right in the middle of our own wedding reception! You went to that party, didn't you? Arnold: Sorry, Dad. Philip: Sorry is not good enough. Go sit in your room while I think of a suitable punishment. Arnold: How suitable? Philip: Very suitable! Arnold: That bad, huh? (He retires upstairs.) Maggie: Don't make it too suitable, Philip. He did get us out of that boring reception. Philip: Oh, I haven't forgotten. (Arnold enters his bedroom to find Sam staring at the wall.) Arnold: Hi, Sam. How-- Sam (like a robot): I can't talk to you. Arnold: Why? Sam: Because I'm not speaking to you.
