Josh: This week join me as I examine one of the Bible's most powerful and controversial figures, King David. He's known most famously as the young shepherd who slayed the giant Goliath, but his story and legacy reverberate beyond the single act. Some believe his kingship unified the people of Israel and produced the lineage that gave rise to Jesus Christ. Others believe David never lived at all. What's the real story? Was he man or myth? To find out I'll take the path that David might have used to establish the city of Jerusalem, explore what it took to be a master shepherd and gain privilege access to one of the world's most guarded archaeological sites. We're digging for the truth and we're going to extremes to do it.
