Digimon Adventure 02, commonly referred to as Digimon Zero Two, is a Japanese-style animated ("anime") series that follows the events that transpire three years after the end of the original Digimon series. The world is at peace as our characters have grown older and now in junior high school. That is, until a new villain appears, known ominously as the Digimon Emperor. With the Power of Black Rings and Control Spires, he quickly takes Digimons under his power, while also preventing Digivolution from occurring. T.K. and Kari, along with three new heroes, take up the tasks of ridding the Digital World from this new evil. Our protagonists are equipped with the D3, allowing them to enter the Digital World from any computer, and the Armor Digivolution, which in conjunction with the Digi-Egg lets their Digimon evolve around the Digimon Emperor's Control Spires. The series originally ran from April 2000 to March 2001 with a total of 50 episodes.moreless
