Episode Recap

With only two sections of the Digital World remaining (Ophanimon's castle and the Autumn Leaf Fair), the Royal Knights are on the hunt for the next fractal code. Since no one knows where the fractal code in Ophanimon's castle is, the Digidestined have set up post at the Autumn Leaf Fair, with Sepikmon using his boomerang to watch the Royal Knights and with Datamon helping the kids build a snow catapult. JP is operating a large machine to rearrange to order of the town, therefore breaking up the fractal code to make it harder for the Royal Knights to locate. Sepikmon spots several Digimon trying to attack the Royal Knights, and Zoe and Patamon are working on getting the Digimon in the Autumn Leaf Fair onto the Trailmon and out of the danger. The Royal Knights delete the Digimon, so Takuya and Koji unified-spirit-evolve to EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon to face the Royal Knights together. Tommy, Kouichi, and Zoe work on launching snowballs at the Royal Knights. They take some shots, and the kids finally have the upper hand, at least until Dynasmon decides to hunt for the fractal code while Crusadermon holds the two off. Dynasmon pounds the ground and is furious to only find one piece of the fractal code, so starts to hunt for more. EmperorGreymon goes in to attack Dynasmon while MagnaGarurumon continues his assault on Crusadermon. Crusadermon is finally looking down, but holds on against MagnaGarurumon, while Dynasmon grabs EmperorGreymon by the throat and slams him against a tower. The kids launch snowballs frantically, but they melt before impact. Crusadermon then destroys the catapult, sending the kids flying, revealing their fractal codes, except for Kouichi, who remains somewhat unhurt. Shocked, Kouichi remembers back when the other kids were hurt and he was the first to get up all the time. Crusadermon then says that it is because Kouichi does not have a physical form, but is merely a spirit. MagnaGarurumon slams into Crusadermon again, though Kouichi begs for more information. EmperorGreymon unleashes a fiery blast, sending Dynasmon flying back, and as EmperorGreymon goes in for the kill, Crusadermon holds him back. EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon then team up on Crusadermon, and Crusadermon is not in good shape. However, Dynasmon has put together most of the fractal code already, so EmperorGreymon goes after him, trying to stop him. Dynasmon sends him back, Crusadermon fends off MagnaGarurumon, and Dynasmon completes the fractal code, taking it in the name of Lucemon, destroying the whole town. Luckily, all of the Digimon had gotten onto the train, but with only one fractal code left, the Royal Knights believe that they have victory insured and head to Ophanimon's castle. The group realize that it has come to one last stand, and they must save this final fractal code or Lucemon will be reborn.
