      • Debut: Ebonwumon

      • Azulongmon debut in the new continuity, with a new VA. Ebonwumon's original mame was Xuanwumon. Xuanwu [Black Tortoise]. And it's japanese counterpart was Genbu [Gen meaning "Phantom/Illusion"]. Genbu was guardian of the north & his element was water. Note that his second head is based that in some representtion, Genbu was represent as a Tortoise with a snake on him.

      • This episode links this season to season two. In the episode "A Chance Encounter", Sora's father explians the guardians of Kyoto being a Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise and White Tiger. Later, we find out Azulongmon is the dragon; in the previous episode, we find out Zhuchoumon is the phoenix; in this episode, we find out Ebownumon is the tortoise and Byoumon is the white tiger.
