      • Jeri's speech on the Japanese Version :

Jeri: Listen! you can hear me, right? You took my voice and my memories because I wasn't a good girl at all! because I took Leomon's words, and fate, and twisted the meaning to what I wanted! but.... but......! even I can live my life smiling and being happy starting tomorrow! if I try, even I can become a good girl! I think humans are like that! They can evolve! humans can! This is what Calumon, Takato-Kun, and Leomon showed me.. I mistook what Leomon said.. That we can't run away from fate.. it's not about that, right... Leomon?
( Jeri's Digivice comes on and Leomon appears on the reflection nods with approval. Jeri then says: ) Thanks, Leomon... There's nothing that deserves to disappear! Everything is really important! So, please don't eliminate it!

      • Terriermon: You missed it. I had to be quiet, and it tickled.
Guilmon: You had to be quiet?
        Renamon: Imagine that!

      • Jeri: You can hear me, can't you? I know you can! You stole my voice and upset my dad and my friends. You even snooped around in my head and messed with my memories. Losing Leomon broke my heart, but I never should've let you take the beautiful memory of my friend and turn it into something ugly! It was wrong of me to believe that feeling nothing was better than feeling sad. The sadness was real. It was human! I misunderstood Leomon. He never meant me to think my life had no meaning... he said that we all have our own destiny, and that's not the same thing. Every one of us has a destiny that's different and that's special! Isn't that right? Thank you, Leomon... You can't delete even one of us without deleting something that the whole world needs. Every one of us has something important to do!

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Rika's observation "wherever you go, there you are" is likely a reference to a line in the cult 80's film "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension."

      • The Narrator quotes Shakespeare's play "Henry V" specifically the titular King's call to arms "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more".
