Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • At the beginning of the episode, when Mimi and Joe's group is watching the city disappear due to the defeat of Machinedramon, Gomamon comments that Tai must have defeated another Dark Master. How could he have known that, though? Since he wasn't there, it could have been Matt and MetalGarurumon that defeated Machinedramon instead of Wargreymon and Tai.

    • When Kabuterimon digivoles to Ultimate during the fight with LadyDevimon, he starts transforming before his name (MegaKabuterimon is absorbed into his body). If you look closely, you can see the name approaching from the top right diagnol corner says Aturak, and then Kabuterimon transforms. This is a dub error, as it was AturaKabuterimon, his Japanese name, instead of being changed to English.

    • At the end of the previous episode, Andromon said he was leaving the group, but he is seen amongst them here.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • (after LadyDevimon swings Angewomon out of her way, MegaKabuterimon catches her)
      MegaKabuterimon: Gotcha!
Angewomon: Let me go! Let me at her! (MegaKabuterimon does so)

    • LadyDevimon: (gets struck by Angewomon's Heaven's Charm attack; shrieks) I-I-I-I-I-I'M MELTING!!!
      (she disappears out of existance)

    • LadyDevimon: (swinging Angewomon around by her hair) Never did like that bleached look!

    • (when LadyDevimon appears before the gang)
Sora: We should've known there'd be a welcoming committee.
Kari: She looks like a witch!

    • Ladydevimon: Ah! You broke it!
Megakabuterimon: Aw, send me the bill.

    • Joe: They don't call me "Old Reliable" for nothing.
      Gomamon: But they don't.
Joe: I'm going to ignore that.

    • Andromon: Intruder warning! Interloper detected!
Ladydevimon:(Laughs) You pile of recycled scrap metal; You spoiled my entrance!

    • (The vicious battle between LadyDevimon and Angewomon ends up turning into a heated slapping match.)
Tai: Wow... Look at 'em go!
Izzy: I know I shouldn't watch this but... I can't take my eyes off!
Kari: Get her Angewomon! That's right! Knock that witch's block off! Go!

  • NOTES (8)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Kari describes LadyDevimon as a witch, and as Angewoman defeats her she cries out, "I'm melting". An allusion to the Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz."
