Once again the kids have to keep on walking across this place. In this episode they come across what seems to be some mechanical factory. It looks normal but is it? Once they enter they come across a new Digimon called Andromon. By now, from following on from the previous episodes you can tell something is bound to be wrong. Well, yes there was and the kids end up running around the whole factory.

Izzy needs some power so his laptop will work. When he finds this electrical room in the factory he is amazed. This guy loves his technology. From this episode I have learnt he likes to get things done by himself and likes to work out complicated puzzles. I also got to know Izzy a bit more because of the flashback it showed. I like the idea of how they put that into the episode.

Digimon may evolve if there partner is in danger but also Izzy found out a way to make them evolve from his laptop. Pretty neat, huh? Yet something else to take into mind.

Overall, another action-packed episode leaving us wondering "what happens next".moreless
  • Not Bad

    8.2
This was just a filler show in my opinion. There was nothing really funny about Tentomon getting shocked( he is a ****ing Digimon who shoots electricity, he should not be hurt by the ****). although it was not great this episode had a very good point to it. It also introduced the first Ultimate level Digimon. In any case that shoud been a sign that things were about to get a lot tougher for the Digidestined. The fight between Andromon and the other Digimon was not that bad I have to admit, but it was not very good either, so there is a draw between a good episode and a piece of **** one. They could have given it a little more of point. When Tentomon Digivolved they just decided to end the battle. What they should have done was have them have a lot more trouble after that and the kids

accidentally hit the Black Gear with an attack. The show did get better though.moreless
  • Woah, an Ultimate Digimon so soon?! These guys don't mess around in the storyboard room...

So there's a factory. With nobody in it. How Twilight Zonish. Tai, Joe, and Sora find Andromon, who has a black gear up his... knee. (What did you think I was going to say?) Anyhow, he comes after them, and Tai tries to stop him with a crane, but Andromon busts out of the concrete floor and attacks.

Not even Greymon and Garurumon stand a chance against him, so Izzy uses the program that shocked Tentomon. Tentomon uses it to digivolve to Kabuterimon. I guess it would make sense for him to attack, because the electric attack probably shorted the gear's schematics. A fav of mine.moreless
  • "Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker" is a really good episode, and manages to put more of a digital sense in the show, and show a unexpected sad side to Izzy.

    8.7
"Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker" is a really good episode. It has a mysterious factory, which all it seems to do is make stuff to dismantle stuff. Also, the digital codes and the giant sized battery Izzy finds. The codes are later used to digivolve Tentomon into Kabuterimon, who is pretty cool. The enemy in this is the coolest yet, Andromon, who is an android Digimon. He is the first ultimate level Digimon in the series, and is being influenced by a Black Gear. Also, the episode shows a sad side to Izzy, and his adoption. This episode is also the first episode to feature more than 1 Digimon to digivolve, and one of the same Digimon from before. Agumon and Gabumon also digivolve, but aren't strong enough to stop Andromon because they don't think to hit the giant gear sticking out of his leg. All in all, the episode is a really good episode and the action is intense and the story magnificent.moreless
