The Gekomon recognise Guardromon, despite not knowing that he had De-Digivolved from Andromon.
Marks the first time Jeri used a Digimon card which is an Evil Digimon (i.e. Lady Devimon.)
Why didn't Renamon Digivolve? She wasn't low on energy and, unlike Guilmon, her partner was with her.
In the first scene with Jeri serving Orochimon, the backshot of her has her with the big wooden ladle thing in her hands, but in the next few shots the ladle is in the tub of sake/milkshake (depending on which version you prefer).
Gekomon: We won't fight Orochimon because we love peace, and we love keeping ourselves in one piece!
Kazu: You've gotta learn to stand up for yourselves, or someone like Orochimon will walk all over you.
Gekomon: You're right, I will. Starting tomorrow...
Jeri: Yep, it's a village, alright.
Rika: Nothing gets past you, does it?
Jeri: Well, I... hey!
Renamon: And who are you?
Andromon: A humble servant in the fight for good. Andromon the Just.
Guilmon: Just what?
Leomon: I'm coming, Jeri.
Guilmon: Tell her we're all coming. She'll feel better that way!
Leomon (to Orochimon): Step back, beast! Or slither back!
(after Guardromon becomes Kazu's partner)
Kenta: Great, now I'm the only one without a partner! I'll probably end up with Boringdramon or something!
This episode was published in the manga Digimon Tamers Volume 3.
Original title: Friendship with Guardromon! Tamer Hirokazu, "So do I fight?"
The only attack Orochimon is seen using is his Inferno Blast.
Kazu becomes a tamer in this episode. His partner is Guardromon.
Debut: Orochimon
In the original, the Gekomon were really making saké, a Japanese alcoholic rice drink. In the dub, they changed them to milkshakes.
Andromon has been in all three Seasons of Digimon, but this time he has a different voice.
The Gekomon, also having been in all three seasons, retained their original voices, but now appear for the first time without the Otamamon with them.
Orochimon:
Based around the Yamata no Orochi in that his heads can regenerate and the center head is the - er - head head.
