  • The final battle between Lucemon ShadowLord Mode and Susanoomon.

    10
I thought this episode was a pretty good way to end the series. The final battle between Lucemon ShadowLord Mode and Susanoomon was great. And I loved how all of the Hybrids made an appearance. I also thought that the very last scene, where there is the caption ...And so it Ends, was a great way to show the connection between the series (with the title of the first episode being \"And so it Begins...\"). All in all, a great episode!moreless
  • Susooanomon defeats Lucemon. However, Lucemon is reborn as pure evil and decides to take over earth. The children try to fight him, but can\'t seem to find any weakness.

    5.0
This episode was a letdown. So the ULTIMATE DIGIMON (Omnimon ripoff) shows off and he can\'t even take on Lucemon. He gets beaten, but soemhow is able to regain the strength to beat him. There are quite a few problems with the sequence that starts the episode. Lucemon takes forever to land a punch. ANd Susanoamon never blocks or dodges it. If this is an attempt at bullet-time, it fails miserably. Then, when Susanoamon finally takes out his huge sword and slices the cave or whatever it is, Lucemon stand still and yells. insteead of trying to dodge (cause there is no doubt that he sees it coming) he stands there and yells. It is very annoying to be true. Then when it should all be over, we get one of those, he turned powerful again. He digivolved to a higher form. Remember this though. Lucemon mode changed once and he was a strong digimon that almost annihilated the digidestined. It was acool evolution. He had a demon like facet to him and it maintained his angelic side that really maintained the character as a corrupted being and not just a being of pure evil. However, the new form is the biggest letdown in history. No only does he look a lot less menacing than the previous encarnations, but he can\'t talk and he carries an orb (the only creepy thing with that voice). In addition, the writers decided to go to a bigger is badder. In this case, the smaller and more compact looking Lucemon was more of menace than this overgrown ogre. He doesn\'t resemble Lucemon in the least and instead looks plain dumb. The worst part of this is that he was never needed in the first place. The other Lucemon looked better and was more of a threat. Besides, the episode presents no new ideas. It is very reminicent of the Apocalymon being the final challenge. However, in that case, You wanted to know where the dark master came from and now you would find out. In this case the Lucemon battle was drawn out for too many episodes (same as the D-reaper in tamers) and this just made it lamer and lamer.moreless

    • When Kazemon, Beetlemon, & Kumamon attacked together at Lucemon, Kazemon said "Hurricane Gale"; that is Zephyrmon's attack. She should have said her own attack, which is called "Hurricane Wave".

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Bokomon (about Lucemon): He's been stripped of all goodness, and is now evil incarnate. His reign of terror will be unstoppable!
Neemon: And I used to like the rain!

  • NOTES (7)

    • Japanese Title: Fight Susanoomon, Lucemon Reaches The Human World

    • To accompany and correct an earlier note, the symbols on Lucemon's wings represent the 7 Great Demon Lords led by Belphemon. Besides him, the Demon Lord Digimon are Barbamon, Beelzemon, Daemon, Leviamon, Lilithmon, and Lucemon Chaos Mode.

    • Lucemon Chaos Mode is killed by Susanoomon, but split into to Digi-Eggs. The dark one hatched into Lucemon Wild Mode.

    • Debut: Lucemon Wild Mode, Lucemon Larva Mode

    • The giant monster Lucemon's evil became was called Wild-Mode in the card, but Satan-Mode in Japan. The seven symbols on it's wings are the crests of ALL seven Grand DarkLord Digimon.

    • BTW, the number ten is also symbolized in an Asian( dont remember which country, im chinese)expression of " perfect 10 out of 10 " which, despite its sound of simpleness, means perfect peace and perfectional unity( that everyone's spirit united)

    • The Kanji on Susannomon's head is the kanji "Ten", not only refering to the power of all ten elements, but as "Ten" the is japanese word for "Heaven".

The blade Susannomon weilds is the ARMS Orochi[Ironic as Orochi is the name of the 8-headed dragon Susanno killed, & also the name was used for Orochimon.].
