This episode is beautiful in it\'s show of the brother\'s new bond. Patamon helps Kouichi sort through his emotions and the kids help Kouji. Their ideas on brother relationships are very cute. Kouichi\'s vow to stay by his brother is a very strong link that will stay through the rest of the show as Kouichi is determined to never hurt his brother with his own hands and to try and protect him. Very good episode.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • When J.P., Zoe, and Tommy help out, all three shout, "Beast Spirit Evolution!" However, J.P. only spirit evolves.

    • The rest of the gang's D-tectors all came from their cell phones, but Koichi's D-tector just materialised in front of him. Does Koichi have a cell phone (I wonder, because his family is so poor) or is it just an illusion?

    • The title of this episode has false pretense. When read fully, it says, "Never the twins shall meet." But Koji and Kouichi, the only real twins in this episode, actually did meet.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Koichi (about the others): Why don't they hate me after everything I did? I tried to destroy them. I can't even stand me right now!

    • Cherubimon: Shall I destroy you now, or do you want to play some more?
Zephyrmon: We'd better think of something quick, or he's gonna squash us like a bunch of little beetles!
Beetlemon: Great. Thanks a lot for THAT visual, Z!

    • Beowulfmon: That did it!
Cherubimon: Indeed. It showed just how pathetic you are!

    • JP (about Koji and Koichi): The resemblence between them's kinda creepy, huh?
Tommy: And they look the same!

    • Patamon: I would love to have a little brother or sister.
Neemon: (to Bokomon) Better get busy!
Bokomon: What exactly are you saying?!

  • NOTES (9)

    • Look hard when the Spirits of Darkness change into their true forms. Duskmon's spirit transforms into JagerLoweemon's and Velgemon's spirit changes into Loweemon's.

    • Koichi is the only member of the Digi-Destined who never Spirit Evolves into his Beast Spirit. He always Spirit Evolves into Lowemon and only becomes JagerLowemon through Slide Evolution.

    • Japanese Title: The New Warriors Of Darkness! Lowemon & KaiserLemon

    • Koichi offically Joins the Frontier cast this episode.

    • JagerLoewemon is known in Japan as KaiserLeomon.

    • Koichi gets the purified Spirits of Darkness when Cherubimon has defeated the others. It's revealed that Duskmon and Velgemon are the corrupted versions of the Spirits of Darkness. Since Lobomon: H Spirit of Light and KendoGarurumon: B Spirit of Light are wolf-like Digimon, Loewemon: H Spirit of Darkness and JagerLoewemon: B Spirit of Darkness are based on lion-like Digimon.

    • Debuts: Loewemon: True H Spirit of Darkness, JagerLowemon: True B Spirit of Darkness

    • Actually on Season 3 with the exception of Jeri and Ryo the others were Secondary Characters to the plot

    • Season 4 continues the tradition of having the original team of Digidestined pick up at least one new member along the way. Season 1 added Kari. Season 2 received the help of Ken. Season 4 has Kouichi, but it was Season 3 that really expanded on this idea. Along the way Takato, Henry, and Rika add Kazu, Kenta, Jeri, Suzie, and Ryo.
