Digimon: Digital Monsters Season 1 Episode 16

With Tai's crest in tack, Tai begins to wonder how Agumon can digivolve further. Izzy explains that to digivolve, the Digimon need two things: their human partner must be in danger, and they must have a lot of energy. Since he's the only kid with a crest, Tai stuffs Agumon with food so he'll have the energy to digivolve to his ultimate form if it's needed. Out in the desert, Joe's tag leads the group to a Coliseum where his crest should be. While searching for the tag, some of the kids decide to play soccer. Then a Gazimon arrives, and he chases everyone into a soccer net except Agumon. Etemon sends an evil Greymon to attack them. Agumon digivolves to Greymon, but he's had to much food to eat, and none of his attacks will work. He also is running much slower. In the net, they found Joe's crest, and it opened an escape path. Tai decides Agumon needs some motivation, so he puts himself in danger and causes Greymon to digivolve to a new form, SkullGreymon, a savage killing machine. SkullGreymon defeats evil Greymon, then attacks the other Digimon until he runs out of energy and digivolves back to Koromon, Tai learning from this decides not to try and make him digivolve again.
