    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (6)

      • Aquilamon uses his Blast Rings attack, but refers to it as "Grand Horn".

      • Patamon digievolvs into MagnaAngemon. However, he doesn't attack.

      • When Gatomon digivolves and armor digivolves at the same time, she says "digivolve" and "armor digivolve" out of order from the images shown. This causes his first sentence to sound like "Gatomon digivolve to Nefertimon" and her second one to say "Gatomon armor digivolve to Angewoman".

      • When Patamon armour digivolves to Pegususmon, he says 'Galloping Hope' not 'flying hoof' or 'flying hope'!

      • -That was probably due to the fact that in the last few eps of the 02 dub, Jeff Nimoy was fired as the dub writer, so I guess the new ones stuck closely to the original script, in which 02 took place 3 years after the 01 events.

      • Kari says that they defeated Myotismon three years ago. However, they celebrated the four-year anniversary of defeating him back in "Ghost of a Chance".

    • QUOTES (6)

      • MaloMyotismon: I'm curious to know why my mind illusion was ineffective against you. How can it be that you have no insecurities or unhappinesses for it to feed off of?
        Davis: What do I have to worry about? I have my friends, my family, and a Digimon. Plus some guy with a letter opener on his face trying to kill me. I'm happy to say I don't have any problems!

      • MaloMyotismon: I must admit I'm impressed by your tenacity.
        Davis: Wait until you see my bullheadedness!

      • Ken (walking through a sandstorm): I think I got sand in my brain!

      • Yolei: You're the greatest friend ever!
        Hawkmon: You're making my feathers blush!

      • TK: I don't think I've been giving Davis enough credit. He's the bravest guy I know!

      • Davis: No! I'll never retreat! Not as long as there's a fighting chance! I've never quit before and I'm not going to start now! As long as ExVeemon's willing to fight, I'm backing him!

    • NOTES (7)

      • This episode was published in the manga Digimon Zero Two Volume 2.

      • Japanese Title: The Final Armour Evolution!

      • First episode where different battle songs are played one after the other.

      • Digivolutions shown (in order of appearance):

        * ExVeemon, Flamedramon and Raidramon.
        * Angemon, MagnaAngemon and Pegasusmon.
        * Halsemon, Aquilamon and Shurimon.
        * Digmon, Ankylomon and Submarimon.
        * Angewomon and Nefertimon.
        * Stingmon.
        * Shakkoumon.
        * Silphymon.
        * Paildramon.
        * Imperialdramon.
        * Imperialdramon Fighter Mode.

      • As the two Imperialdramon were about to attack MaloMyotismon; you should notice that Imperialdramon has Stingmon's voice, and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode has ExVeemon's voice.

      • When it comes to Ken's illusion where he sees his Digimon Emperor side tied to a post and being attacked by different Digimon, among the Digimon seen are Gotsumon, Gizamon, Elecmon, Digitamamon, Gorillamon, Tyrannomon, Unimon, Monochromon, Andromon, Drimogemon, Mojyamon, Deltamon, and a bunch of Bakemon.

      • First Time we see all the digivolutions right next to each other.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • The Digimon Emperor being tied to a pole resembles the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Being attacked by the Digimon could resemble "The Passion of Christ."

      • Title: The Last Temptation of the DigiDestined

        This is a reference to the film, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ.
