This is the only episode in the show that Marcus does not appear in. He only makes a brief cameo in the narration of what happened in the previous episode.

Dub edit: The English dub leaves out the mention of Relena's mother. In the original Japanese version, it was hinted that she died due to complication giving birth to Relena.

Melodee Spevack does not reprise her role of Crusadermon (renamed LoadKnightmon in Digimon Data Squad). Instead, Dave Bushnell voices LoadKnightmon making it his first voice over role. Chris Edgerly voices Dynasmon who was previously voiced by Derek Stephen Prince.
