This episode was filmed at the Atlantic restaurant in Los Angeles located at 8256 Beverly Blvd.
The Atlantic closed later in 2001 and became "Em Bistro" which also closed and now (as of 2005) is "Solare Ristorante", an Italian restaurant.
Jeanne Tripplehorn: I don't care what the budget is, I don't care, I want a good director, a great role and a great story. Is that too much to ask?
Peter Berg: No, it's not.
Kevin James: You want that to make money as well?
Jeanne Tripplehorn: Ah, I want people to see it.
Joey Lauren Adams: I was at a restaurant Saturday night and this girl came up to me, she was like "Hi Renee!" and I was like "I'm not Renee." I want a t-shirt that says "I'm not f'ing Renee."
Jon Favreau: Make sure the comma is in the right place.
Peter Berg (talking to Jon Favreau about "Very Bad Things"): The problem was that we had actors with radically different processes working on that film. Daniel Stern, Jeremy Piven, Leland were so incredibly animated...and you are more of an internal actor, to your credit, and so there was a question of making sure there was the same body in the bathroom so to speak.
"Truck 44", the film about firefighters that Peter Berg talks about in this episode, was cancelled after the events of 9/11.
