  • Robert has to do a wedding reception for 150 people in 9 hours with Japanese/Chinese and Irish cuisine. He also has to deal with the event planner from hell.

This was interesting as he made 5 canapes and a tasting menu for dinner alternating courses from one to another. It was not easy as he has never put those two together and he had a wedding planner that was a royal pain.

He let his new sous chef Matt do all the canapes, and he was busy on the main menu. I cannot imagine the stress and strain he goes through just trying to get it done, and put a wedding planner that is in his face and convinced that her view of the overall wedding would be lost if Robert got some flowers that clashed with the white or cream. Take a valium lady, and let a pro do his thing.

I read today on the web that in spite of the February announcement, that Chef Robert will be back for a fourth season. I also read that the one claim he made was more than likely true but due to the fact he was a culinary student, the snotting Brit in charge took all the credit and that is the way they do it there. I know, worked with them for years.moreless
