i'm trying to get this message board going, so which is your favourite character?I don't really have 1 favourite character, but the one's i like the most are twinkle and anita.

Stan, when he gets his gander up he is so funny, wonderful writing as ever by Victoria Woods.

I really love Bren and Tony. Stan works my nerves, especially with "my dad was a desert rat........." every 5 seconds.

He's sooo funny. Have you seen the episode when the canteen have all their parents' round for afternoon tea? Stan's dad, the brilliant Eric Sykes, was superb.

If Stan didn't do the "my dad was a desert rat..." every 2 seconds he would be a good character. Stan's dad reminds me of a friend's dad, especially when he breaks off a piece of the toaster.

i agree with alanwarsap that Stan's a funny character; i think it's funny when he says "they're female women", and the way he talks and stuff.

i like jean - she comes out with come great one liners. I also love the character thats dances to jingle bells in the christmas one with jane. im not sure what his name is, but he keeps popping up.

I Love Twinkle, i think Maxine Peake is brilliant playing her. I love the epiosode where they ask Twink what the soup is and she replie minestrone and then Bren wants to know why it has not been written down on the board and she replies "Can't Spell it" I also love Tony as i think his relationship with the girls is so great.
