AIRED:
Llahd's attempt to show his worth to the Dino-Riders in battle nearly costs him and Tagg their lives. He runs away to prove that he can be a hero all by himself, but can't help a trapped herd of Torosauruses alone. Meanwhile, the camp is left at half strength while his people go out in search of him. The Rulons take advantage of the ship's vulnerability and launch an attack that the Dino-Riders cannot overcome without reinforcements.moreless

    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (4)

      • During the training class, Gunner forgets to give the third team some target practice before moving on to field maneuvers.

      • By the end of this episode, you have to wonder why Llahd seems to be the only kid on the ship. Who is his guardian, and why was he chosen to be one of the few survivors of the Rulon attack on their homeworld?

      • Tagg and Llahd inexplicably switch command pods during the course of the first battle.

      • In the first battle, one of the Dino-Riders charges directly at Hammerhead but collides with a viper.

    • QUOTES (4)

    • NOTES (3)

      • The baby Torosaurus is not the first infant dinosaur to be shown on this series. Yungstar, Serena, and Llahd found some Triceratops hatchlings in "The Rulon Stampede."

      • This story demonstrates the power of the Dino-Riders' amps. Questar receives and answers a call from Gunner, puts out a general alert, and switches back to Gunner without skipping a beat. And although Llahd doesn't answer Mind-Zei, his presence is still felt through his amp.

      • After losing the first battle, Krulos is shown berating his minions as they stand at attention. Among them is Lokus, who we haven't seen before and won't actually hear from until a later episode.
