(Fran picks up Baby who's asleep, to take him to bed) Baby: Whoa, something wrong, baby moving...(calmly) oh it's the Mama! I'm all secure.

Earl: (to Sparky) If anybody ever gives you any guff, you just tell them "I'm one of God's creatures and I demand respect".

Earl: Fran, if I put a suggestion in the box, it means I had an idea. If I had an idea, it means I had to think all day to get it. And if I'm thinking, I'm not working. And if there's a suggestion in the box with my name on it, they've got proof! Trap! I can spot a trap in a second.

(There is a Suggestion Box in front of Mr. Richfield's office) Roy: Well, what do you think it is? Earl: I have no idea. I mean, it says "suggestions." Roy: Well, I could use a suggestion. (Roy puts his ear next to the box, as Earl watches. Mr. Richfield pulls back his curtain and observes) Earl: What's it saying? Roy: Nothing yet. (speaks into the box) Hello? This is Roy. What do you suggest? Mr. Richfield: (off screen) I suggest that you are a complete idiot! Roy: OK, your turn. (Earl smacks him and points to Mr. Richfield) Mr. Richfield: Ugh, Do I have to explain everything? Earl & Roy: Yes, sir. Apparently so. Mr. Richfield: Look, the head office thinks we can benefit from listening to our employees. Earl: But we know better, right, sir? Mr. Richfield: Yeah, we do. Nevertheless, should the day come when you guys actually have a thought in your head, put it in the box! Roy: I don't think I can get my head in that box. Mr. Richfield: Write the idea on a piece of paper and put the paper in the box! Oh! (slams window shut) Roy: Jeez. Earl: Easy for him to say, he's got the directions. Roy: Well, I suggest a simpler box.
