Earl: I can't take it anymore, Fran! Every morning, noon and night, it's Georgie Georgie Georgie! Georgie on the phone! Georgie at the zoo! Georgie at the beach! Baby: That's my favorite! Earl: Yeah? Well, this is MY favorite! (throws the video cassette on the floor and steps on it) Georgie in a million pieces!

This episode was originally meant to be the final episode of the series. The last episode "Changing Nature" was a tragic story and it was decided that would be a better way to end the series.
Casablanca: Some of the dialogue between Fran and Earl before Earl leaves on his secret mission is similar to the dialogue from the 1942 movie "Casablanca".
Barney: The character Georgie parodies Barney. The show was a huge hit in the 90s with young children.
