Charlene is surprised to see that Earl brings his friends from work to celebrate her birthday party. Charlene decides to leave the family to join another one as part of a student-exchange program. A French bird name Francois lives with the Sinclairs, until he's eaten by Baby. Francois' parents arrive to take him home and explain they also had bad luck with Charlene.moreless

This episode is to me one of the bestest true episodes I've ever seen with alot of heart touching and situational and funny moments ever. Charlene joins a foreign home in order to get away from her family which she believes that they don't know her or love her anymore. Earl being a foolish father tries his best to understand Charlene. In the end, Charlene and Earl get back together and then Charlene kisses Earl on the check for excepting his forgivness. The funny part was actually when Baby eated the talking popaun student Francuor.moreless
