      • At the end of the Sinclairs' Refrigerator Day pageant, Baby says "God bless us, everyone!" This is a direct reference to the Charles Dickens short story, "A Christmas Carol" in which Tiny Tim says this very same line.

      • Fran and the kids go to the store to return Refrigerator Day presents. The name of the store is Kave Mart, which is a parody of the popular department store, KMart.
