      • Zipeau: So I told him to eat my scroll!

      • Karl: So, um... I thought you had a Scroll Club meeting tonight.
        Zipeau: I was... sort of.
Karl: Oh yeah, So what's the plan, you hound? You gonna take her back to the library and show her some of your rare Japanese scrolls?
Zipeau: Well, actually, she did express an interest in seeing our Egyptian collection.
Karl: Ah! Lock up your daughters, Waterfall City. The Zip-meister's on the prowl.

      • Marion: Okay, well in that case, I don't see why we shouldn't immediately get naked and party.

      • Marion: You know what? This is great. I mean, all of a sudden I just feel so safe - like I could relax now. It's like you're my brother or something.
        Karl: Brother?!

      • Lok (describing his courting technique): A little song, a little dance, putty in your hands!

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (5)

      • Karl: Man! Give him some Mentos, will ya?

Mentos is a popular candy brand that freshens your breath. They come in a variety of flavours - the most common being mint.

      • Lok: The Wartosa's magic is a Pandora's box, and you ripped the lid off.

In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman and she was given a box by Zeus, the king of all gods, and told never to open it. Her curiosity got the better of her and when she opened it, all of the misfortunes of mankind such as greed, despair and sorrow, were released.

      • Karl: That's not exactly babe-magnet behaviour and you're not exactly George Clooney, if you know what I mean.

George Clooney is an American actor best known for his long running appearance on the the medical drama ER. He was voted People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 1997.

      • Karl: I can't believe I'm standing here, talking about women, comparing scoring techniques with Yoda.

Yoda is a character from George Lucas's "Star Wars" films. He stands at around 2 feet, wears a robe and carries a cane.

      • Karl: I'm stuck in a time loop with a slimy toad, a weird little Oompa-Loompa in a robe and two chicks competing over who hates me the most.

Oompa-Loompas are the assistants to Willy Wonka in Roald Dahl's book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", which was also made into 2 films. Oompa-Loompas are characteristically around 3 feet high and are prone to breaking out in an impromptu, witty song while they work.
