    • TRIVIA (2)

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Karl (about the heat): There's nothing like a little sunstroke to heat up the melanoma.

      • Krista: Look, if you don't wanna join the Skybax, I don't think anyone on the committee's gonna be heartbroken about it - not after the stunt you pulled. I mean, you know they only gave you this trial as a favour for David.
Karl: You can stop right there Miss Senior Cadet, all right. First of all, you have no right to talk to me like that. I don't care if I'm a recruit or not. And second of all, what happened that day is none of your business.

      • David: Ooh, that's quite a hickey. You and Marion been "charting some unexplored regions" I should know about?
        Karl: It's a bite!

      • Le Sage: With the right company, even a T-Rex-infested backwater can have its charm.
Frank: Not that we've seen any for a change.
(Two crocodile-like Mesosaurs appear behind Frank)
Le Sage: That disappoint you? I could fix that, you know. What do you say to a couple of hungry Mesosaurs? Would that do it for ya?
Frank: What are you... (looks) Mesosaurs!

      • Zipeau (yells): Mesosaurs! They're gonna eat me!

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • Frank: He was like the three musketeers rolled into one.

"The Three Musketeers" is a novel by Alexandre Dumas. The musketeers themselves are three skilled fighters known for their bravery and flare. The story has spawned numerous films and TV shows.

      • Frank: No offence to Dr. Seuss here, but I'd rather you stay with Karl.

Dr. Seuss was the pen-name for famous author, Theodore Geisel, best known for his children's books, including "The Cat in the Hat". He was not an actual doctor.

      • Karl: It's an insect bite, Beavis.

This is a reference to Beavis and Butt-head, an animated television series that aired on MTV. Beavis is a stereotypical fry-brained, slacker student.
