  • Rosanna Arquette is the real winner of this episode!

    8.0
I saw the very first episode of "Dirt" and I was blown away by the series. the first episode is "And the winner is..." and the best moments of that episode came from rosannna Arquette. She made out with another woman during the telecast of the Hollywood Gold Award. Oh, yrah there was Countney Cox as the editor of the week tabloid magazine. I just saw the first episode of "Dirt" and was turned on by the series. And Rosanna Arquette made it very special. Next week will be the season finale of "Dirt." Let me tell you if you not watch FX please watch FX and 'Dirt." it's cool.moreless
  • Another solid episode.

    7.0
Lucy, Ted and Holt: Lucy finally chooses one of them and I'm guessing based on the drastic decisions made on this episode, it is going to stay that way for a very long time. I don't know if I really like how it all ended up, but looking at the other possibility, I guess this came out just right. I did notice though that I don't care much about Lucy's personal life.

Jasmine, Willa and Farber: Remember Jasmine from the previous episode? The girl who was going to costar Holt in his new upcoming movie. She finds herself in the Hollywood Gold Awards making a big boo-boo on stage. Willa and Farber investigate on it and have her ex-husband as one of the suspects. Other than teaming up once again, Willa and Farber hook-up once again. A bit repetitive don't you think?

Sharlee, Mia and Don: Don and his new celebrity friend, Sharlee attend the Hollywood Gold Awards wherein Sharlee will present Mia with a lifetime achievement award. Don continues to take pictures of her for DirtNow, but based on last episode, he isn't liking it. Mia does something outrageous on stage that surprises not only the crow, but Sharlee as well. Can Don just leave Sharlee already? The actress is annoyingly boring and the character doesn't separate herself either.moreless
  • At the annual awards show, Holt punches Lucy's date, Sharlee and Madonna-esque singer, Mia, share a passionate kiss and Brent ends up in a dead end situation.

    9.3
In the second to last episode before the season finale, Lucy is dealing with dating her new beau, Tom, and her feelings for Holt. Holt wanted to go to the awards show with her, but she was already going with Tom. Don was hanging out with Sharlee and starting to develop feelings for her. She was set up to introduce her idol, Mia, wonderfully played by Courteney Cox's sis-in-law, Rosanna Arquette, at the awards show and Mia did a play on the Madonna/Britney escapade from a few years ago - planted a kiss on Sharlee's lips! After the show, Sharlee went to Mia's dressing room to tell her that she thought she was wonderful but Mia was very mean to her and told her that the kiss was just a publicity stunt. Sharlee leaves, hurt, and Don stands up to Mia for Sharlee, basically telling her to be ashamed of herself for the way she treated Sharlee. Meanwhile, Brent was trying a way to impress his new boss, Collin, by agreeing to let Collin take his date to spend the night with her. His date agrees, if Collin is willing to pay one million dollars. He of course tells Collin that she is down with that, and in payment, Brent gives her his Jag. Collin is extremely grateful and in turn gives Brent a brand new car and lots of money! Brent is in heaven and leaves in his brand new sports car! He drives home, opens his garage door and pulls in, and the garage door closes behind him, with the car still running! Holt and Lucy's date talk and Lucy's date tells Holt that Lucy is the finest piece of tail he has ever had and Holt punches him. It is over with Lucy and her guy and Lucy calls Holt and tells him she has to see him. Lucy goes to him and the episode ends with Brent's gardener coming to work and Brent passed out unconscious in his garage, with the car still running.moreless
  • In some ways it was amazing, in some, a mystery.

    8.4
First of all, I loved that after waiting all season, Holt and Lucy finally got back together. I kinda feel, though, that they dragged it out more then necessary. I thought it was a great idea to focus more on the behind-the-scenes stuff in the episode, rather the focusing on the actual award show. I loved their play on words "Hollywood Gold Awards." Priceless. Did anyone else find it strange that this episode, apparently took place two weeks after the last one? I was wondering why they'd do that. The Farber and Willa angst-fest was funny to watch. It filled in some holes when she said she was mad at him for not calling her. At first it was, what happened? Was it no good or something? Its does seem, though, that everyone on the show is pairing up. Holt and Lucy, Willa and Farber, and now, Sharlie and Don. I wonder if Brent is really dead? Probably not. He can't rattle Lucy's chains if he dies. All around, it was a really great episode, but you tell that they were really just leading up to the season finale this Sunday. It was slitly a "filler episode," but only barely. It gets points for reunited Holt and Lucy.moreless
  • its the Hollywood Gold Awards and everybody's attending. things happen onstage but real deal is backstage. meet the press, meet the celebrities! Lucy doesnt get what she needs for this week mag, Don bails on her, she wants to see Holt!moreless

I thought last week 's episode was amazing directed by DA, but this one reaches some high levels as well.

I will pass on Don's relationship with pop icon Sharlee because I dont really like the direction his taking with Lucy. but let's just say he is getting closer to Sharlee, and he is reluctant to do his job for Lucy.

Farber & Willa are in the after the fisrt time mad fighting period but will rekindle on the limo back home but not without a littl poppers on the way to get some info on a star that puked onstage.

Lucy and Holt are very chatty and Ted catches up on this and provokes Holt, who punches him, (so great to see him jealous), and then Ted asks Lucy if she loves Holt to which she replied she doesnt know (but we all know).

I absolutely loved in the end when Lucy has no real hot dirty stuff to put in the last issue of DirtNow, she accepts it and calls Holt.

then we have what all of us people crazy about Lucy & Holt have been waiting for... a kiss and what a kiss it is! such tenderness, such envy, no rushing, no need to talk and that leads to the bedroom but that we'll see next week!

    that's our show: cut!moreless

    • Lucy: What were you thinking?
Holt: I'm sorry, all right? I shouldn't have, but he had it comin' to him.
Lucy: Because why? What did he say? That I was, uh, a slut? That I put out? What are you, sixteen? What world are you living in?! He played you.
Holt: All right, so what? So he played me. Who cares?
Lucy: This is a big mistake.
